"Traveling has always been a part of my life. I'm very spontaneous."

Not unlike her character Steffy Forrester on CBS’ "The Bold And The Beautiful," actress Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is a bit of a wild card as well as a world traveler, which is what makes her new gig as host of E!’s "Party On" such a natural fit. The show premieres tonight at 10:00 PM, and on each 30-minute episode MacInnes Wood will take viewers along as she visits the most glamorous A-list destinations in the Mediterranean and Adriatic for a whirlwind 48 hours, exploring amazing cities, dropping in at spectacular parties and meeting beautiful people.

"Traveling has always been a part of my life," she told "I'm very spontaneous. I will just pick up and go, sometimes by myself, sometimes with friends or people I've just met. That's always been who I am. As an actor, I've been lucky enough to experience some pretty amazing parties and travel for work. Being on 'The Bold and the Beautiful,' Brad Bell treated me to the south of France, Italy and South Africa."

With the eight-episode "Party On," she crossed even more exotic locales off her must-visit list, including the Croatian island of Hvar, a favorite of Prince Harry, Marbella in southern Spain, Marrakech in Morocco, and one of her favorites, Istanbul, Turkey, where she was joined by actress Ayda Field (ex-Angela Moroni, "Days"). "It was so exotic and such a cultural delight," she said. She even plans on returning for more than 48 hours when she can. "It's never enough as there is always so much more to see and do. But it gives you a great taste, especially when visiting each country’s best spots."

For nightlife, MacInnes Wood placed Ibiza and Mykonos – where she partied with LMFAO’s Redfoo - at the top of the list. "Hours after the sun goes down, the fantastic clubs crank up to warp speed and leave you breathless," she said. "Expect to see everything and anything. The DJs are world class and it is a who's who of the rich and famous." For romance, she definitely recommends Sardinia in the summer. "Beautiful beaches, intimate hotels and wonderful Italian restaurants make it the perfect place for a couples’ getaway." And for food, she loved it all. "There were so many savory moments," she said. "The Truffle Pizza at Villa Romano in St. Tropez is out of this world and in Marrakech the influence of French cuisine and Moroccan spices is to die for."

However, there were a few terrifying moments during her travels as well, and viewers will get to see one of them when she takes on extreme bridge jumping in an upcoming episode. "I was scared to death and that terrifying scream you heard was certainly not an act."

So with all of her travels, will she find the time to come back to LA as Steffy for more than just a visit? "Not sure what the New Year will bring, but I am certainly busy," she said. "It’s always fun to pop back in to 'B&B' and hang out with the cast and crew, we always have great laughs. Steffy loves Paris and Paris loves Steffy, so working on the international fashion business end for Forrester Creations while hobnobbing with the decadent Parisians is the right fit for now."

But just because she hasn’t been on the show too much lately doesn’t mean she lacks an opinion about the new triangle that has formed in her absence. "Steffy would say Team Liam, but I am Team Wyatt on this storyline," she said.
