Updated March 8, 2018: Linsey Godfrey will make another return to The Bold and the Beautiful beginning on March 13 as Caroline Spencer.
On May 5, 2017 we reported that actress Linsey Godfrey shared the news that she was back on "The Bold and the Beautiful" set as Caroline Spencer on her Instagram account. Recently, Godfrey reported that Caroline wouldn't return anytime soon, so this was an unexpected development. In a further surprise, the actress had gone from blonde to brunette. Soaps.com will post Godfrey's airdate when it becomes available. Godfrey told Soap Opera Digest that she hadn't been expecting to return and that the email came shortly after she announced she wouldn't be going back to the show. "It was such a shock and such a pleasant surprise, but I definitely didn’t anticipate it. It was great. B&B is always my home and they’re always my family, so it just felt really good to see people who I haven’t seen in a while because they’re working and life is hectic and I live pretty far away from everybody... I just say thank you to the fans who stuck by me and were so supportive. I hope they’re super-excited about me coming back and to let everybody know!”

Updated February 2: Soaps.com is excited to report that Jennifer Gareis will bring Donna back to "B&B" for Brooke and Ridge's wedding beginning on February 7.

Spears, who B&B recently put on contract, and who plays Donna's ex-husband, Justin. Take a look at the tweet below!
Gareis last appeared as Donna in October 2016, and also joined in The Bold and the Beautiful’s 30th anniversary celebration earlier this year.
