8: When General Hospital's Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) have scenes together, just one of the times was during September 18, Jayson Belt's "Just You and Me" continues to be a fan favorite.

7: While Kendall Slater (Alicia Minshew) was packing her bag on All My Children's March 26 episode, "Hold on Tight" by Rie Sinclair filled viewers' homes.

6: During Ann Douglas' (Betty White) death on The Bold and The Beautiful's November 23 episode "The Water is Wide" by Orla Fallon played.

5: One Life to Live's Jessica Brennon (Bree Williamson) was forced to give Hope back to Starr Manning (Kristen Alderson) on June 5, where "Please Don't Go" by Barcelona played.

4: The Young and The Restless' Beth Maitland (Traci Connolly) sang "Angel's Lullaby" at Colleen's (Tammin Sursok) memorial on October 9.

3: On February 13, on The Young and The Restless, Cane Ashby's (Daniel Goddard) flashbacks of Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) were accompanied by Michael Kisur's "Peace."

2: General Hospital's Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) rescued Jake on September 9 while "Storms," by Lifehouse was playing in the background.

1: Though the song is pretty recent, and started playing on General Hospital around October 9, American Idol's Adam Lambert's rendition of "Mad World," which played during many James Franco (Franco) scenes, was the most requested song of the year!
