Soap Stars React to Latest California Wildfires image

Devastation from horrific fires.

Wednesday morning, news continued surrounding the latest California wildfires, this time closing part of Interstate 405 in the vicinity of Los Angeles’ Bel Air area. CNN is reporting that evacuations have been made, one including “General Hospital” actress Kimberly McCullough (Robin), who stated “It’s really scary and our area is being evacuated. Please keep us and our neighbors in your prayers. We are safe at our friend's house.” Soaps.com is terrified for those in and around the area, considering one of the recent blazes destroyed over 80,000 acres of land, which housed homes and various buildings, not to mention all of the wildlife.

Soap opera actors took to Instagram to share prayers, photos and videos of the destruction...

The Bold and the Beautiful:
Jacqueline MacInnes Woods (Steffy) posted a live video recording of the fire and stated, “Devastation… feels like you’re driving on a different planet #losangelesfires Stay safe everyone and when they say evacuate. EVACUATE!! And PLEASE DON'T LEAVE YOUR ANIMALS IN THE HOME!!” Her former cast mate Winsor Harmon (ex-Thorne) posted a photo of himself wearing a facemask with the caption, “#Come to #LA with #beautiful #beaches #great #weather #hollywood oh yah AND #BIGASS #FIRES!!!!”

Days of our Lives:
Actors chimed in with their messages to those affected. Greg Vaughan (Eric) expressed, “Thoughts and prayers to all those affected by massive fires! Shelter all your animals and support all the brave Men & Women fighters/police in service!” Lauren Koslow (Kate) posted a photo captioned, “Fire sky.” Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) shared a newspaper article from the Los Angeles Times and said, “Please protect our beautiful state and the men and women on the frontline fighting to save it.”

General Hospital:
Actors posted as well, including prayers from Laura Wright (Carly), who said “Devastating - prayers please,” and a warning from Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), “It was a blue sky day in LA unless you were in this cloud of smoke... be careful SoCal.”

The Young and the Restless:
Actors RT’d various fan and news posts and the show’s official Twitter page posted a pre-empt warning last night, due to news coverage of the fires. Tracey Bregman stated, "Sending love and prayers to all in L. A. It’s such a scary time here." Incidentally, this is the second day that production was shut down for show alum Shemar Moore’s CBS series S.W.A.T.

Soaps.com sends our thoughts and prayers to those affected by the fires.
