Soap Opera Actors: Where are they now image

Justin Bieber likes his soap goddesses too.

This week uncovered a veteran soap actress who'll be receiving honors, primetime and film news, old co-stars reuniting, Justin Bieber's soapy crush and more for former actors of "All My Children," "As the World Turns" and "One Life to Live."

Susan Lucci named Disney Legend.
"All My Children" veteran actress Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane, 1970 to 2011) will be honored on August 14 at the D23 Expo as a Disney Legend. Others to be honored as well, to give the club 257 members, include George Lucas ("Star Wars"), composer Danny Elfman, animator Andreas Deja, artists Eyvind Earle and Carson Van Osten, ESPN's George Bodenheimer and Disney's first ambassador Julie Reihm Casaletto. Lucci will receive a two-foot tall bronze sculpture and take part in a handprint ceremony, which will be displayed at the Disney Legends Plaza in Burbank, California.

Eva LaRue to Fuller House.
With John Stamos' Fuller House coming to Netflix in 2016, has found a soapy connection mixed up in the reboot. Former "All My Children" alum Eva LaRue (ex-Maria Santos, 1993 to 2011) has been cast to play Teri, Danny Tanner's (Bob Saget) wife. The actress also played Margot Collins on "Santa Barbara" in 1988 and tweeted about her latest role:

Justin Bieber has the hots for Kelly Ripa?
Pop superstar Justin Bieber posted a photo of former "All My Children" actress Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley Vaughan Santos, 1990 to 2010) on his Instagram with the caption: "Wow Kelly makes me feel some type of way, no disrespect I know she's married! #bigcrush." In response, Ripa almost made her "Live with Kelly and Michael" co-host Michael Strahan spit out his coffee when she stated, "I think this is a cry for help." Watch the hilarious video with Ripa and Strahan below where they discuss Bieber and her offer to be there should he need her.

Austin Peck and Terri Conn welcome baby girl. recently announced that Austin Peck and Terri Conn were expecting and now we're happy to report that they welcomed a baby daughter on Saturday July 18. The former "As the World Turns" co-stars (ex-Brad and Katie Snyder) named her Morgan Theresa Peck and she joins their first daughter Keira and their children from previous marriages, Roman, Aidan and Julia. We send the family our very best! Peck also played "Days of our Lives'" ex-Austin Reed and "One Life to Live's" ex-Rick Powers. Conn played Aubrey Wentworth on "One Life to Live" as well.

Alex Rocco dead at 79. regrets to report that former "One Life to Live" guest-star and legendary actor Alex Rocco passed away on Saturday July 18 at the age of 79. The actor had well over a hundred credits to his resume and appeared as Moe Greene in 1972's "The Godfather." He played popular characters on "Kojak" (Morton Tallman), "Simon & Simon" (Police Captain Tom Balcomb), "The Facts of Life" (Charlie Polniaczek), "The Simpsons" (Roger Meyers Jr.) and many more. Rocco guest-starred on "One Life to Live" in 2004 as FBI Chief Christopher Scaletta. sends the actor's family and friends our deepest condolences.

Teddy Sears signals danger on The Flash.
One of Teddy Sears' first acting gigs was playing Chad Bennett on "One Life to Live" in 2001. Since then he's appeared on series such as "CSI: Miami," "Mad Men," "Raising the Bar," "American Horror Story" and "Masters of Sex," just to name a small few. "The Flash" has cast Sears to play Jay Garrick who upon his arrival in Central City will alert Barry Allan (Grant Gustin) and team S.T.A.R. Labs of the danger looming ahead. The CW series returns with season two on Tuesday October 6 at 8:00 PM with Sears premiering in the first episode titled "The Man who Saved Central City."

Brittany Underwood cast on The Bay.
Brittany Underwood, "One Life to Live's" ex-Langston Wilde (2006 to 2012), is the latest daytime actor to join the web series "The Bay." She'll play Sofia's (Jacklyn Zeman, "General Hospital's" Bobbie Spencer) daughter Riley Henderson. Season four will return online sometime this fall when Underwood's character moves from New Orleans and makes plans to become a student at Bay City University. The actress recently hung out with her former daytime co-star Nic Robuck (ex-James Ford, 2010 to 2012) and took to Instagram to share a fun photo:
