Sarah Michelle Gellar says goodbye to Robin Williams.
Former "All my Children" actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, who originated the role of Kendall Hart in 1993, took to Twitter to pay tribute to her onscreen father, Robin Williams. Gellar recently played Williams' daughter on "The Crazy Ones" and released a statement to People Magazine saying, "My life is a better place because I knew Robin Williams. To my children he was Uncle Robin, to everyone he worked with, he was the best boss anyone had ever known, and to me he was not just an inspiration but he was the Father I had always dreamed of having. There are not enough adjectives to describe the light he was, to anyone that ever had the pleasure to meet him. I will miss him every day, but I know the memory of him will live on. And to his family, I thank them for letting us know him and seeing the joy they brought him. Us crazy ones love you."
The actor was found dead at the age of 63 on Monday August 11 in his Tiburon, California home as a result of what appeared to be a suicide. Williams will always be remembered for his many film and primetime roles such as "Mork & Mindy," "Mrs. Doubtfire," "Night at the Museum" and so many more… Soaps.com sends everyone who knew and loved Williams our deepest condolences.

Charles Keating passes away at 72.
We are saddened to report that Daytime Emmy winning soap opera vet Charles Keating passed away after a battle with cancer at the age of 72 at his home in Weston, Connecticut. Fellow soap actor Mark Pinter ("Y&R's" Marcus Wheeler, "General Hospital's" ex-Agent Rayner, "All my Children's" ex-Roger Smythe, "Another World's" ex-Grant Harrison, "As the World Turns'" ex-Brian McColl, "Guiding Light's" ex-Mark Evans) posted on his Facebook: "RIP - Charles Keating - He was a man, take him for all in all, I shall not look upon his like again." Keating's son Sean confirmed the news to the LA Times. Soaps.com sends our deepest condolences to his wife, their two sons and the rest of Keating's family and friends.
Where is John Colenback?
Soaps.com Facebook friend Lyn B. was curious to know what John Colenback ("As the World Turns'" ex-Dr. Dan Stewart, on and off from 1966 to 1979) has been up to these days. Though there is nothing recent for the actor, he was last spotted in 1986 as Frank Bellman on "Falcon Crest." Prior to that and after his Oakdale role, Colenback appeared in shows such as "Hart To Hart," "The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo," "An Innocent Love," "Capital" (Detective Keyes) and "Berrenger's."
Trent Dawson joins Weight.
Back in June we alerted fans to "As the World Turns" alum (ex-Lily Snyder) Martha Byrne's new web series Weight. Now another former Oakdale co-star has been added to the cast. Trent Dawson (ex-Henry Coleman, 1998 to 2010) will play the host of "The Weigh-Off," the show within the series. Since leaving daytime, Dawson has appeared in guest roles on "The Good Wife," "Homeland" and most recently in 2013 on "NCIS: Los Angeles." Stay tuned for further details on "Weight's" premiere.
Josh Kelly back to the military in Jarhead 2: Field Of Fire.
Josh Kelly ("One Life to Live's" ex-Cutter Wentworth, 2010 to 2013) is no stranger to the military, having served as an Army Ranger with three tours in Afghanistan and one in Iraq. In his latest film "Jarhead 2: Field of Fire" Kelly will star as Merrimette, alongside Cole Hauser ("Rouge," "2 Fast 2 Furious") as Fox. Corporal Chris Merrimette, scarred by the war, leads a unit to the edge of Taliban-controlled territory. Watch the trailer below before the film's DVD/Blu-ray release on Tuesday August 19.
A Martinez and Marcy Walker created one of daytime's most memorable supercouples.
Phyllis L. wondered if actors A Martinez and Marcy Walker, who steamed up the screen from 1984 to 1991 as "Santa Barbara's" supercouple Cruz and Eden, had any new projects as of late. Walker had a few projects between her time on "Santa Barbara" up until the last time she was seen in the industry as Liza Colby on "All my Children" from 1982 to 2005. Since then, she's pursued Christian ministry with various North Carolina establishments. Martinez has kept quite busy over the years. The actor went on to appear in such soap operas as "General Hospital" and "Port Charles" as Roy Dilucca, "One Life to Live" as Ray Montez and "The Bold and the Beautiful" as Dr. Ramon Montgomery. He turned up in numerous primetime shows including "LA Law," "Profiler," "For the People," "JAG," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Castle" and currently has appeared on "Longmire" as Jacob Nighthorse since 2012. Be sure to keep an eye out for his other projects, "Symphoria," "In Embryo" and "On Painted Wings."
