Season premiere! Someone turns from vigilante to hero in the CW's October 9 8:00 PM episode titled "City Of Heroes." Wednesday episode teasers: Diggle and Felicity go on the hunt for Oliver, who returns home and finds out things are in worse shape than he thought. Rochev prepares a hostile takeover of Queen Consolidated. Thea won't visit Moira in jail. Roy tries to fill a void left. Laurel works with the District Attorney's office to ruin the vigilante, and flashbacks to the island reveal Slade, Shado and Oliver's desperate situation.

In casting news… Fans can expect John Barrowman to return as Malcolm Merlyn this season.

Beauty And The Beast:
Season premiere! There's a big reunion in the CW's October 7 9:00 PM episode titled "Who Am I?" Monday episode teasers: Vincent Keller and Detective Catherine Chandler reunite. Vincent no longer has his scar, or his memory, and is now a supercharged beast on a mysterious mission. In order to save their epic love, Catherine must unravel the reasons behind Vincent's change and solve the secrets that swirl around her own life.

Boardwalk Empire:
In HBO's Sunday October 6 9:00 PM episode titled "Erlkonig," Nucky has to deal with the aftermath of Willie's Philadelphia prank. Agent Knox gives Eddie a marathon detention. Gillian's need of a fix leads her to an unfamiliar place, and Van goes to work for Al outside Chicago.

Cedar Cove:
Renewed! The Hallmark Channel has renewed its Debbie Macomber series for a second season. Production will begin in 2014 with scenes filmed in Vancouver. Season two will premiere later that same year and will again star Andie MacDowell as Judge Olivia Lockhart.

Chasing Life:
The new ABC Family drama, which follows an aspiring journalist faced with troubling news, has cast Andy Mientus ("Smash") as Jackson in a recurring role. The series will premiere sometime in 2014, and Mientus will first turn up during episode five.

Covert Affairs:
Renewed! The USA Network will bring sixteen new episodes to viewers, as it's renewed its series for a fifth season.

Criminal Justice:
Robert De Niro ("The Family") will play the lead role of a lawyer named Jack Stone in the new HBO mini-series, previously set to be played by the late James Gandolfini ("The Sopranos"). The series follows a cab driver who finds a dead girl in his bed after a night of partying. As of yet a premiere date has not been released.

Criminal Minds:
Paget Brewster will return as Emily Prentiss for the CBS series' 200th episode in February 2014. The actress sent out a special thanks to those who helped keep the secret under wraps and tweeted.

Eastbound & Down:
In HBO's Sunday October 13 10:00 PM episode titled "Chapter 24," Kenny takes his family and friends on an overnight trip to the water park, which leads to a day of good clean fun and an evening of sin.

Monday episode teasers: Zoe returns to BlueBell before making a permanent move to New York City. Lavon is the only one happy to see Zoe, who agrees to help Brick track down George. Lemon's dirty little secret is discovered, and Wade has to save face.

Hello Ladies:
In HBO's Sunday October 6 10:30 PM episode titled "The Limo," Wade tries to win back his ex-wife by renting a stretch limousine. However, Stuart and Kives join him, and they pick up three female tourists.

Sleepy Hollow:
Renewed! The show announced today via Twitter that FOX has ordered a season two of its new series.

Season premiere! In the CW's Tuesday October 8 9:00 PM episode titled "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here," Sam collapses and Dean hears that his brother won't make it. Dean seeks help, through prayer, in exchange of owing an angel a favor. Many angry angels plan to kill Dean. While Sam faces some familiar demons, Castiel fights to live without powers.

In casting news… Shannon Lucio ("Once Upon A Time," "The OC") will guest star in the October 22 episode titled "I'm No Angel" as April Kelly. Also, watch this video interview with Jared Padalecki, who plays Sam, for a look at what's ahead in season 9.

The Originals:
Scenes flash to the 1800s in the CW's October 8 8:00 PM episode titled "House Of The Rising Sun." Tuesday episode teasers: Rebekah arrives in New Orleans, receives unexpected news from Hayley and seeks help from Sophie. Klaus stays one step ahead from Marcel, who reminds Rebekah of the pain Klaus has caused. Things take a dangerous turn after Hayley takes matters into her own hands, and Marcel goes to Davina for help. This episode will repeat on Thursday October 10 at 9:00 PM.

The Simpsons:
Treehouse of Horror! This year's annual episode, "Treehouse Of Horror XXIV," will air on October 6 at 8:00 PM on FOX. In the couch gag opener, director, screenwriter, producer and novelist Guillermo del Toro ("Pacific Rim," "Pan's Labyrinth") will feature monsters and classic characters from horror films throughout history. Sunday episode teasers: Homer wreaks havoc by spinning rhymes on a popular children's tale. "Dead And Shoulders" will have Bart's head placed on Lisa's body and the two forced to live together as one. "Freaks No Geeks" will follow Mr. Burns' traveling circus, with Marge as a trapeze artist and Homer as a strong man.

In casting news… Executive Producer Al Jean has revealed that the writers for the series are currently working on a script that will have one main character passing away. Stay tuned for details as they come.

The Tomorrow People:
Pilot episode! In the CW's Wednesday October 9 9:00 PM premiere episode, Stephen Jameson starts to question his sanity when he begins hearing voices and waking up in strange places. One of Stephen's voices leads him to his first encounter with the Tomorrow People, (John, Cara and Russell) a genetically advanced race with the abilities of telekinesis, teleportation and telepathic communication. The series stars Robbie Amell as Stephen Jameson, Luke Mitchell as John, Peyton List as Cara and Aaron Yoo as Russell. This episode will repeat on Friday October 11 at 8:00 PM. Watch as cousins Stephen Amell ("Arrow") and Robbie Amell ("The Tomorrow People") joke about being related and invite fans to watch both of their series this fall.

The Vampire Diaries:

Two And A Half Men:
Former "General Hospital" actress (ex-Emily Quartermaine) Amber Tamblyn is a series regular on Two And A Half Men. The CBS show airs Thursdays at 9:30 PM.

Renewed! Having averaged 8.23 million viewers over the summer CBS has renewed its hit series, starring Poppy Montgomery as Carrie Wells, with plans to bring viewers thirteen new episodes. Season three will premiere in the summer of 2014.
