Coming up in Primetime Television.

This week in Primetime we have lots of Daytime stars doing guest work, the official trailer for the much-anticipated new season of "Homeland," a touching tribute for a fallen star at the Teen Choice Awards, and so much more.

In the Wednesday September 4 episode titled "Home Invasion," Deadshot (guest star Michael Rowe) returns to Starling City after taking down a U.S. Ambassador and six others overseas.

Bates Motel:
Michael O’Neill ("Grey’s Anatomy," "24," "The West Wing") is checking into the infamous hotel for the second season of the A&E drama. Look for him to play a vengeance-seeking bad guy named Nick, a ruthless charmer mourning the death of his daughter. The second season is currently in production and will return in 2014.

Boardwalk Empire:
After barely surviving last season’s overthrow by gangster Gyp Rossetti, Steve Buscemi’s Nucky Thompson and "Boardwalk Empire" are set to return to HBO on September 8 at 9:00 PM EST. The fourth season of the Emmy-winning drama features new cast members Jeffrey Wright ("The Hunger Games: Catching Fire") as a violent power broker; Ron Livingston ("The Conjuring") as a romantic prospect of Gillian’s; Patricia Arquette ("Medium") as a Florida speakeasy owner; Brian Geraghty ("True Blood") as a federal agent; Domenick Lombardozzi ("Chicago Fire", "The Wire") and Morgan Spector ("Zero Hour") as Al Capone’s brothers.

Find out what couples’ activity The Young And The Restless’ Greg Rickaart will be participating in his upcoming guest appearance in the September 23 episode of the Fox drama. The series returns Monday September 16.

Find out what guest role The Young And The Restless’ Billy Miller has landed during the sixth season of the ABC series, set to air in October. Tune in Monday September 23 for the 10:00 PM series return.

The Carrie Diaries:
Older woman! Molly Sims ("Las Vegas") will be appearing in the second season of the CW show as a love interest for Carrie’s sometimes guy Sebastian. The "Sex And The City" prequel returns Friday October 25.

Criminal Minds:
Eva La Rue ("CSI: Miami," "AMC's" ex-Maria Santos Grey) will be solving crimes again this fall with a guest starring role on the CBS drama. The ninth season begins September 25.

In Sunday's August 18 9:00 PM Showtime episode titled "Are We There Yet?" Dexter suspects that his protégé murdered a neighbor. Meanwhile, he tries to help Hannah flee the country.

Drop Dead Diva:
Rebecca Mader ("Lost," "OLTL's" ex-Margaret Cochran) has landed a guest starring role as a confident dominatrix on the Lifetime series. Look for her character to appear in the season finale later this year after she hires Grayson to represent her. The series resumes with five new episodes at 9:00 PM on Sunday October 6.

Family Guy:
A legendary leading lady is lending her voice to the bawdy Fox cartoon. Lauren Bacall will guest star in an upcoming episode playing a recent widow and the best friend of Peter’s mother. Look for her character to make totally inappropriate passes at Peter in an episode to air in January. Bacall joins previously announced Season 12 guest stars Peter Dinklage ("Game of Thrones"), Bryan Cranston ("Breaking Bad") and Adam Levine ("The Voice"). The new season begins Sunday September 29.

The show took home multiple awards at the Teen Choice Awards this week, including Choice TV Show: Comedy, Choice TV Male Scene Stealer for Chord Overstreet, Choice TV Breakout Star for Blake Jenner, and Choice TV Actress for Lea Michele, who dedicated her win to Cory Monteith.

Grey’s Anatomy:
Time for goodbye. After ten years as Cristina Yang on the ABC medical drama, Sandra Oh is leaving the role when her contract expires at the end of the season. The tenth series premieres on September 26 with a special two-part episode.

Hart Of Dixie:
On Monday August 19 at 8:00 PM the CW will air a repeat episode titled "Where I Lead Me."

Christian Camargo ("Dexter") and Emma Lahana ("Hellcats") are the newest recruits to the fourth season of the Syfy series. Camargo will star in the recurring role of Duke’s estranged half-sibling Wade, while Lahana plays Jennifer Mason, a slightly off-kilter young lady who hears strange voices that could produce valuable clues about Audrey Parker’s whereabouts. The series returns with new episodes on September 13.

Hawaii Five-O:
Making music! One of the Jonas Brothers just snagged a role on the CBS show for season four. Nick Jonas will play a shady computer hacker in an upcoming episode of the new season, which premieres Friday September 27 at 9:00 PM EST.

The Showtime series returns for season three on September 29 at 9:00 PM EST. Watch the trailer now!

Hillarie Burton ("Grey’s Anatomy") is heading over to the new CBS thriller starring Toni Collette. Burton is set to recur as Samantha, the assistant to the star’s real-estate husband, played by Tate Donovan. The drama premieres Monday September 23.

Charlie Bewley ("Twilight," "The Vampire Diaries") has landed a recurring role as Trey, a potential love interest for Juliette (Hayden Panetierre). Bewley will appear in the third episode of season two, which returns at 10:00 PM on Wednesday September 25.

Casting call! The CBS show has already begun looking for a replacement with a start date of Mid-October after star Cote de Pablo (Ziva) announced her departure. According to the casting notice the character will be named Bishop, and "is bright, educated, athletic, attractive, fresh-faced, focused and somewhat socially awkward. She has a mysterious mixture of analytic brilliance, fierce determination and idealism. She’s traveled extensively, but only feels comfortable at home." Season 11 begins September 24.

New Girl:
In a turnaround from her role on "Don’t Trust The B---- In Apartment 23," Dreama Walker will be playing a mean girl in the second episode of the third season when it returns September 17. Walker will play Molly, a teacher at the school where Jess (Zooey Deschanel) works as a temp.

Matthew Atkinson ("Jane By Design"), is coming on board the NBC drama for a multi-episode storyline during the fifth season, which starts Thursday September 26. Atkinson will play Zach, a drummer and potential love interest for Amber.

Parks and Recreation:
Comedienne June Diane Raphael ("New Girl") is joining the cast as the Eagleton doppelgänger of apathetic April (Aubrey Plaza). Raphael is part of the multi-episode Eagleton-Pawnee plot, which will have the rival towns embarking on joint venture. Raphael joins previously announced cast counterparts Kristen Bell ("Veronica Mars") as Leslie’s counterpart, Sam Elliott ("The Company You Keep") as Ron’s twin and Bill Eichner as Donna’s match.

Pretty Little Liars:

In the Wednesday September 4 episode titled "Citizen Fang," Martin tells Sam there was a vampire kill and he thinks Benny is responsible. He decides to take things into his own hands and when things get messy, Dean is forced to make a very hard decision.

Teen Choice Awards:
In addition to "Glee, " there were many Primetime winners at the recent award show, including Choice TV Actor: Action (LL Cool J, "NCIS: Los Angeles"), Choice TV Actress: Action (Lucy Liu, "Elementary"), Choice TV Actor: Comedy (Jim Parsons, "The Big Bang Theory"), and Choice TV Female Scene Stealer (Miley Cyrus, "Two And A Half Men"). Teen Wolf:
A new monster is heading to MTV’s scary drama. Doug Jones ("Hellboy") is set to appear as a killer named Barrow in episode 15, "Galvanize," this season. Fun fact: Jones played one of The Gentlemen in the iconic "Hush" episode of teen sci-fi show "Buffy The Vampire Slayer." The show’s midseason finale airs Monday August 19.

The Newsroom:
In HBO's Sunday August 19 10:00 PM episode titled "One Step Too Many" Mac and Charlie get a key witness, Will makes an appearance on a morning talk show, and Jim gets unexpected company during his reunion with Hallie.

The Vampire Diaries:
On Thursday August 22 at 8:00 PM the network will air a repeat of its March 14 2013 episode titled The Vampire Diaries: Bring It On.

Tonight Show:
It’s a wrap. It was announced that the last episode of Jay Leno’s "Tonight Show" on NBC will air on February 6 prior to the start of the network's Olympics coverage. Leno’s replacement, Jimmy Fallon, will take over hosting duties after the Olympics, which air February 7-23. An announcement made by executive producer Debbie Vickers stated employees would still be paid through September 2014, when Leno’s contract expires.
