Daytime casting changes.

Casting news for April saw a couple of Daytime actresses moving to new shows, some casting calls, a few actors and actresses moving on from their roles, and some interesting upcoming appearances. Get the details below:

All My Children:
In April, viewers learned that Chrishell Stause would not reprise her role of Amanda. Additionally, Caitlainne Rose Gurreri will play Eileen, a recurring character, and Paula Garces will appear as Lea Marquez, a smart, savvy, beautiful woman who has devoted her life to a career of fighting crime and bringing down the bad guys. A casting call went out for the role of Andres, a Caucasian male doctor in his mid-to-late 30s. He's described as brilliant, handsome and suffering from the loss of his wife. The Bold And The Beautiful:
April brought confirmation that Ashley Jones will return for three or four episodes as Bridget Forrester beginning May 22. Viewers also had the treat of seeing Heather Tom's (Katie) real-life infant son debut as her onscreen son, Will, this month. April also saw singer Julia Michaels drop by the show to serenade a newlywed couple, and actress Sandra Vergara's new character, Theresa, was hired as a model at Forrester Creations. Days of our Lives:
In April, viewers began seeing Ken Colquitt in his role of Seth Burns, the hospital administrator, who much to his surprise ended up visiting a male strip club! Nadia Bjorlin finished her latest run as Chloe this month, and some interesting new casting calls went out, including one for the contract role of 'Derek', who will be in his late 20s, Caucasian or Hispanic, ruggedly good-looking, confident and mysterious. General Hospital:
Big news for Port Charles this month - soap vet, Maura West was cast in the role of Ava Jerome! Tyler Christopher shared the news via Twitter that he will be sticking around longer than originally planned as Nikolas, and Brian Craig was cast as the new Morgan Corinthos. Members of "The Chew" will be dropping in for a guest spot on May 13 and 14, and also coming up in May, viewers will see the return of Michael Easton, (ex-McBain) Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr). One Life To Live:
April casting notes for the "OLTL" reboot did not contain any word on a return for Trevor St. John, however, Snoop Lion, aka, Snoop Dog, was confirmed. A casting call went out for a 30/40 year old confident Caucasian businessman who enjoys spending time with younger women. May appearances include rapper Riff Raff, who will play a shady Miami art dealer named Jamie Franko on May 7, and Bethany Watson (Z100), who appears on May 2 as a news anchor who interviews Dorian on TV. The Young And The Restless:
During the month of April, Adriana left Genoa City, meaning actress Jhoanna Flores was out. Viewers learned that Beth Maitland would be paying Jack a visit by month's end, and got their first glimpse of Melissa Ordway as Abby. It was also the month for the role of Kyle to switch up, with Blake Hood exiting and Hartley Sawyer taking over. Coming up, Shi Ne Nielson will debut as Detective Sheryl Gordon, and an anticipated crossover from "B&B" will be happening in May.
