Ryan Gosling to take a break from acting.
If you're a fan of Ryan Gosling ("Gangster Squad"), you'd better start lining up to rent his movies or putting in your order to Netflix from now on. In an interview with AP Entertainment, Gosling declared that he has reportedly decided to chill out for a while to reassess his script choices and give the audience and himself a much needed break from acting. "The more opportunities I'm given, the more I learn about how easy it is to (expletive) it up," Gosling said. "You fight for freedom and then you get it, and then you have enough rope to hang yourself. It's like trying to exercise some restraint because I do have so much freedom." Before he takes his self-imposed break, Gosling will most likely be promoting his upcoming crime drama The Place Beyond the Pines which also stars his girlfriend, Eva Mendes ("Training Day") and Bradley Cooper ("Silver Linings Playbook").
Lindsay Lohan heads to rehab.
If anyone could make headlines behind the healing walls of a rehab center or the suffocating structure that is prison, it would be Lindsay Lohan ("Liz & Dick"). But we've got a few weeks to wait for those headlines since the actress, through her lawyer Mark Heller, has finally agreed to a plea deal on her misdemeanor charge for reckless driving and for lying to police about who was behind the wheel when she crashed her car last June. Lohan, who was reportedly 48 minutes late to the courthouse at the start of her trial on Monday, will be expected to serve 30 days of community service, 90 days of lock-down rehab and 18 months of intense psychological therapy in addition to various fines. While Lohan reportedly looked joyful at the trial's outcome as she posted a photo of herself on Twitter, according to TMZ, the actress could still be facing jail time if the rehab facilities in New York fail to enforce the 'lock-down' – as in no visitors and no leaving the premises – aspect of her sentence. Lohan is expected to start rehab this May.
Bobby Brown heads to his jail shift.
Singer Bobby Brown has turned himself in to Los Angeles police to begin his 55-day prison sentence after being arrested, charged, and convicted with driving under the influence for the third time in October 2012. But TMZ has reportedly learned that the singer was released after serving only nine hours in the slammer due to prison overcrowding. Brown was ordered to turn himself in by March 20 and did so just in time as he was also sentenced to four years' probation and is expected to participate in an 18-month alcohol treatment program.
Hard breakups for Ryan Seacrest and Katy Perry.
We care, we can't help it. Ever since word got out that Ryan Seacrest ("American Idol") and Julianne Hough's ("Safe Haven") nearly three-year relationship came to an end, the entertainment world is wondering why. So-called sources say Seacrest was a workaholic whose multiple producing projects conflicted with Hough's burgeoning acting schedule, while rumors abound that Hough was the wild, partying type with a penchant for alcohol. No matter what the real reason, both Hough and Seacrest are staying mum on the breakup with Hough recently posting inspiring bits of thoughts and photos from her girl-therapy this past weekend and Seacrest getting down to business as usual with his radio show "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" and hosting duties for "American Idol."

Was this news to you? Katy Perry and John Mayer have reportedly parted ways for the second time during their 10-month relationship. A source for US Weekly suggested that the break-up might just be a temporary one as the two sorts through their busy schedules. Perry is reportedly recording her third album while Mayer gets set to tour, following his throat surgery.
Seth McFarlane and beauty Emilia Clarke ("Game Of Thrones") have also reportedly called time on their short six-month union. Both Clarke and McFarlane were said to be struggling with the long distance between them as she filmed Game of Thrones in Europe, while he continued to work in California.
Not all break-ups, but make-ups too.
Five months! It turns out that a five-month vacation from each other was all that Rhea Perlman ("Cheers") and Danny DeVito ("When in Rome") needed to re-evaluate all the reasons they should stay together. Shortly after DeVito and Perlman separated last October, the couple was spotted travelling together in an attempt at a reconciliation. DeVito has maintained that the couple was always trying to work things out and that it just took some time.
