Dose of reality.
Reality TV took a serious turn this week, as there was one death and one reveal of a serious diagnosis. On a more catty note, feuds heated up between the Osbournes and Lady Gaga, as well as Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, Kourtney Kardashian made a dig at her brother-in-law and Britney Spears dumped her man. Read on for all the details.
All My Babies Mamas:
Caving to pressure from civil rights groups, Oxygen has put an end to their plans for the reality show "All My Babies Mamas." The show would have featured rapper Shawty Lo, who has 11 children with 10 women. He also has a girlfriend who is the same age as his oldest daughter. The one-hour special came under fire for highlighting negative African American stereotypes.
We've been hearing for months about new judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey's feud. This week we finally got to witness it. As "American Idol's" latest season finally premiered, the two divas fought over Minaj's accessories, Carey's holiday hit "All I Want for Christmas" and for some reason the movie "Mean Girls." Although, the latter might have been pretty appropriate. To top things off, Minaj called Carey a bitch under her breath and fellow newbie judge Keith Urban spilled his "AI" sponsored Coke on Minaj. If the premiere is any indication, we have a feeling this season of "American Idol" could be the best yet.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The men being chased were believed to have been involved in an attempted robbery. No arrests have been made.
Watch a deleted scene of the date between Sean and AshLee, who earned a rose, keeping her in the race. In the video, AshLee admits she can't "shake" Sean and he helps her celebrate her birthday.
The next season of "Big Brother" will premiere two weeks earlier than usual on June 26. It will air on Tuesdays, followed by live eviction shows on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo:
Honey Boo Boo's Uncle Poodle recently disclosed that he is HIV positive. Sadly, he contracted the disease from his ex-boyfriend, who knew he was positive, wasn't taking medication and failed to mention it to Poodle, a.k.a. Lee Thompson. He pressed charges and the ex is now serving a five-year sentence, while Thompson got married to Joshua Yarbroughe last year. Thompson, who has faced much bullying in high school, is working to make things better for those coming up after him. He is also hoping to get his own reality TV show to tell his story about being gay in the south.
Kourtney & Kim Take Miami:
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" spin-off premieres on January 20. Take a look at the first 10 minutes of the first episode.
Kim and Kourtney stopped by "Late Show with David Letterman" this past week, where Letterman asked the question on many people's minds: Why hasn't Kim Kardashian, who is pregnant with Kanye West's baby, divorced Kris Humphries yet? Listen to what she had to say and the dig Kourtney got in about her brother-in-law.
My Big Redneck Vacation:
Season 3 of the CMT show premieres on January 26. Tom Arnold ("Easy to Assemble") hosts the show that follows a family from Louisiana as they embark on a cross-country road trip. Take a look at what's to come this season in the trailer below.
There's a war of the words brewing between Sharon Osbourne and Lady Gaga. First, Lady Gaga wrote an open letter to Kelly on her Little Monsters website calling her a bully for making fun of people on E!'s "Fashion Police." Then, Sharon wrote back calling Gaga a hypocrite for criticizing Kelly in such an open forum. Lady Gaga's fans have since issued death threats to Kelly, but no further word from the talk show host, fashion policer or pop star has been made. Is the feud already over?
Whatever the status of their feud is, Sharon has more pressing issues to tend to as her house recently went up in flames. She reportedly left candles burning in her Beverly Hills home before going to bed. Luckily, Sharon and her family woke up, called for help and were rescued by the Beverly Hills Fire Department.
