We are happy to report that last Sunday’s, March 2, 2008, ABC Daytime Salutes Broadway Cares Annual charity event brought in $300,000 for the non-profit organization that helps those living with AIDS, HIV or HIV-related illnesses! wants to congratulate all who attended and contributed to the cause! When it comes to charities, soap stars and their fans are known for their big hearts and generosity! Way to go!

It’s that time of years again, time for the Daytime Salutes Broadway Cares event, a charity based event held to help those suffering from and affected by HIV/AIDS through support and public awareness!

Those lucky enough to attend will get to meet an array of ABC daytime stars from all three soaps including…

All My Children’s Amanda Baker (Babe), Rebecca Budig (Greenlee), Bobbie Eakes (Krystal), Melissa Claire Egan (Annie), Susan Lucci (Erica), Cameron Mathison (Ryan), Leven Rambin (Ava), Chrishell Stause (Amanada), Sterling Sulieman (Dre) and Walt Willey (Jack).

“I’m excited to be a part of it,” Farah said. “I’m looking forward to doing a skit with a fan and seeing everyone’s performances.”

Justis boosted, “I'm pretty thrilled to be taking part in the ABC Daytime Salutes BCEFA Concert. I love the fact that I'm helping to contribute to BCEFA- it has such a strong presence in the Broadway community and does SO much for AIDS awareness and fundraising. And I'm looking forward to singing with cast members from All My Children and General Hospital. It should be a hoot!”
