    The "Who's Who" of Scruples.

On the heels of ABC ordering a new Soap pilot: Scruples, has learned who has been cast in this new exciting series.

Noot Seear was recently cast in the pilot drama "Scruples." She will be portraying Melanie Adams, a beautiful young model/starlet. Seear is best known for her role as Heidi in "Twilight: New Moon."

According to Deadline, Karine Vanasse ("Pan Am," "Marie-Antoinette") will be guest starring as an aspiring fashion designer, Valentine O’Neil. Vanasse has an option to become a regular if the show goes to series. A report from The Montreal Gazette reads, "Pan Am’s fate is still up in the air – pun intended. Most in the business figure it’s toast but ABC will make the final decision in May when it unveils its fall schedule. But even though it’s likely dead, Vanasse had to sign on in what in the industry is called “second position” on Scruples. What that means is that if Pan Am comes back from its hiatus, she will have to return to the show and likely leave Scruples."

Based on the best-selling book, "Scruples" follows the lives of ambitious and creative people, who head down the path of fortune and romance. "Scruples" centers around fashion, sex, scandal and revenge. As previously reported, Natalie Portman, Tony Krantz, and Anette Savitch will produce, along with Brush and Mel Harris who will also write the pilot.
