Fox avoids disaster when Miguel is attacked, Fancy confronts Luis about his 'lover', Sheridan pushes Spike around, Jared discovers the hole in the wall, Ethan makes more promises.

At Tabitha's, Kay pours Fox some tea and tells him that it's good to see him feeling better after his ghastly treatments. He tells her that he still feels tired and she says that he should rest. Fox doesn't think that he has time to waste resting when he should be with her and Maria. He starts to kiss her intently but she breaks away and warns him not to get too excited. She tells him that the doctors say that he shouldn't be having sex, but he reminds her that they actually said that he 'might not be able', not that he couldn't. Being with her is the best medicine; she makes him feel alive and gives him something to live for. She remember Miguel telling her to stay with Fox so that he could provide for her and Maria. 'There's something I need to tell you,' she says. Realizing what's coming, suddenly Fox doesn't feel well and has to sit down. He asks her to get his pills while he figures out his next move. After giving him the pills, she gets a terrible feeling that something is wrong. She becomes distracted and Fox tells her that he's going to go up to bed. Suddenly there is a call from Pilar that Miguel has been hurt. She is set to rush over, but he won't let her go alone.

At the prison, two men drag Miguel into the empty showers and begin beating him. He tells them that they must have the wrong guy and tries feebly to fight back. As they kick him around the floor, a guard runs in and stops them. They object, claiming that he always lets them beat on the new guys. 'You have to be careful not to kill them,' the guard reminds them. Miguel is rolled into the prison infirmary. The doctor isn't sure that Miguel will survive from the beating. He asks for his medical files so that he can notify the next of kin. The doctor tells Miguel to try not to move as he wakes up. Miguel doesn't seem to have a serious brain injury. The doctor has reported the beating to the warden but he's not sure what action he will take. Kay rushes in and the doctor tells her that things could have been worse. She thought that she might have lost him. 'You're a lucky man. This must be your wife,' the doctor surmises. They awkwardly explain that that is not the case, but this doesn't stop Kay from being loving. Fox stands in the doorway gritting his teeth.

Luis is surprised when the disguised Fancy shows up at his cell. She accuses him of scratching her off the visitor's list so that he could move on with another man. 'You couldn't have hurt me more if you tried,' she says. She's turned her life upside down and he's already turned around to have sex with men. Luis is confused, but he's flattered that she'd sneak in and he still loves her. As she continues rambling about how easily he got into men, Luis gets even more confused. When he figures out what she is alleging, he starts to object but she won't stop; she saw him with his cell mate. He tells her that she is wrong. His cell mate wasn't there until this morning and there was no other man before. She calls him a liar but doesn't blame him for trying to get out of it; 'God knows what this would do to your mother.' Luis is still confused but Fancy insists that she knows what she saw. 'Do you know what I risked just to be with you again?' she asks as she walks away. He grabs her hand and begs for a chance to explain. He tells her that he wasn't just taking advantage of the situation and even his cell mate, Max, says that nothing happened between them. It finally dawns on him that she must have seen him with Sheridan while she was in disguise. But before he can explain, she runs away. Luis explains himself to Max, who is impressed that he has two women in disguise chasing him around and even having themselves put in prison for him. Luis asks him for help. He has a plan: 'I'm going to kill you,' he announces. Meanwhile, after Fancy has run away, she starts to wonder if she is wrong.

Sheridan has managed to return home. After peeling off her mustache, she gets on the phone, eager to make plans to see Luis again. She goes upstairs and climbs into the shower, telling herself that she will never give up until Luis comes back to her. Soon, Spike walks into the bathroom. When she steps out of the shower, Spike grabs her into a kiss. Horrified, she violently knees him in the family jewels and pushes him across the room. When she tells him to get out, he can't understand why she called him over in the first place. He says that she's a 'rotten princess' and she tells him that she would never find a slimy weasel like him attractive. Spike doesn't like being insulted by a psycho. When he insults Luis for throwing her out, she tells him that he isn't fit to lick his boots and refuses to let him leave before he helps her. Spike tells her to forget about Luis and points out that he is available. 'If you touch me, I will be the last thing you touch,' she warns. He says that she sounds worse than Alistair. 'I am worse,' she tells him before reminding him that, if he has even the tiniest brain in his sleazy head, he will do what she says. 'At least Fancy won't be seeing him while he's inside,' she says.

Jared walks into the bedroom and notices that there is a giant hole in the wall. 'No wonder you didn't want to sleep in your room last night. It looks like the set of The Shining!' he exclaims. Her mouth hangs open for a moment while she looks for an excuse. She says that she just felt like re-modeling and starts rambling as she covers the hole over with the room divider. Enough with the interior decoration; she just wants to make a baby. They get into bed and the blackmailer watches, glad to see that she's finally learned her lesson. Jared is so happy; being with Tess is a dream come true. He admits that he was scared that she would go back to Ethan, especially after he received divorce papers from Gwen. He thanks her for making him the happiest man in the world. The only thing that she can think about is the blackmailer's demands that she get pregnant. She tells him that she's hungry and gets out of bed to make them a sandwich. 'So far you're lucky. Let's hope your wife keeps making you feel that way,' the blackmailer growls.

Ethan sits in the kitchen drinking while he thinks about Jared starting a family with Theresa. The maid comes in and offers to cook him breakfast but all her wants is drink. She makes him something to eat anyway while he remembers all of his passionate embraces with Theresa. The mood is ruined when he starts to imagine her making love to Jared. Theresa walks in to get some toast. Ethan isn't impressed. 'Here's a toast: Here's to Theresa and Jared! May they live happily never after!' he sarcastically slurs. He asks her to break up with Jared, promising her that he can get her brothers off. She says that she and Jared will be happy with a happy and healthy baby. Ethan isn't convinced; little Ethan obviously sees that his parents hate each other and it doesn't do him a lot of good. She tells him that isn't exactly true while, only feet away, the blackmailer opens the pantry door. As Ethan begs her to let him help, the blackmailer warns: 'Don't cross me again Theresa. You won't even know what hit you if you do.'
