Vincent and Whitney go to dinner, Fox is getting worse, Sheridan refuses to leave Luis, Chris and Fancy suspect their lovers are together, Ethan finds out about the wedding.

Fox sits up in his hospital bed with extreme nausea. He asks Kay to go home, but she wants to take care of him. She leaves to get him some ice and Fox calls the nurse in. He violently grabs hold of her arm and demands to know why the placebo is making him sick. If she is hurting him, he will hurt her. Kay walks in, shocked to see him twisting the nurses' arm. He apologizes and she says that it was just a spasm from the medication. She walks out and he asks Kay what is wrong. She asks him if he is positive it was Miguel. They took vows declaring that they would trust each other, he says and she apologizes. He asks her to go home, but she wants to stay until he falls asleep. Nestling with him, they exchange 'I love yous.'

At Tabitha's, Miguel stares at a glass ball as Pilar wanders in talking about Maria's bond with Endora. She asks for an update on Miguel's case. He is still promising to prove that Fox is lying, but Fox keeps outfoxing him. But maybe, he starts to wonder, there's been a mix up and Fox is getting the real treatment when he was supposed to get a fake one. He helps his mother put her coat on and she points out that, if Fox dies, he's been telling the truth all along and he's been badgering a dying man. After she leaves, he stares at a photo of Kay, Maria and him. Kay arrives home and he tells her that he wants her and will never stop loving her. They kiss.

At the mansion, Fancy searches online for information on Luis without luck. Chris returns and tells her that he can't stop wondering if Luis and Sheridan are together. 'If Sheridan and l are together, I swear to god I'll kill them,' she threatens. He tells her that there must be some other explanation because his wife loves him. Fancy doesn't trust Sheridan though and neither should he. He admits that he thinks that they are together. They have a drink and he says that Sheridan sincerely loves him, but still has a bond with Luis. Fancy tells him his eyes say that he doesn't believe anything he's saying. She thinks that he should be furious. 'I love her and I will do anything to keep her in my life,' he says. He tells her that she can't make him stop loving Sheridan and, if Luis loves her, nothing Sheridan can say will make a difference either. 'Pretty,' Fancy mumbles before becoming upset. There's something about Pretty...

Hiding out in the apartment, Luis is calling around for leads. As he gets frustrated, Sheridan begins massaging his back. She's always been there for him and always will be. They look at each other with longing and begin to kiss. They missed this; it feels so right. But no...this was only Sheridan's daydream. Luis stops her from cutting a finger off while she chops carrots and asks her to leave. She can't understand why so he tells her that she's putting herself in too much danger. But Sheridan is not afraid and he needs help so that he can keep his eyes on the big picture: 'Making you forget all about Fancy forever,' she thinks to herself. They talk about Fancy. She is sorry that she accused her niece of lying but... she stops herself. Luis wants to know what she's hiding, but Sheridan says that she's already said too much. 'Let's not discuss why Pretty never comes home,' she intentionally lets slip. He begins demanding more information while Sheridan bites her lip in a mock tortured pose. She refuses to say anymore, but he demands to know what happened.
At the hospital, Jared is thrown off by Tess' desire to get married right away. She gets on the phone to Judge Reilly to marry them right there. Jared stops her. Something is obviously wrong. She tells him it is Ethan. 'After all you just said to me, you still want to marry Ethan?' he asks angrily. After playing with her hair, she tries to explain herself and Jared offers her phone back so that she can call the Judge. She calls Reilly as he counts his bribes and tells him to come down immediately. He lays back to rest and she begins shaking her head.
Whitney finds Vincent lurking around the hallways at Crane. He asks her to dinner. She wants to get Chad, but he tells her that they should go alone and he can meet up with them later. He has something important to discuss with her anyway. They arrive at the Seascape and he has the maitre d' take a picture of them together. They sit down and Vincent tells her that he needs to talk to her about two people in love, but one doesn't know it yet.

In Ethan's office, Chad is so stressed by his double life that he can't even work. Ethan tells him that he needs to get rid of the other woman before this gets worse. Look at him: He's wasted too much time already. Now, he's just like Theresa; he believes in fate and can't wait to marry her. Ethan wishes he could help his friend. Chad only worries about how vindictive his lover may be. When Chad walks out, he gets a message from Whitney telling him that she's at the Seascape. Then he gets the picture from Vincent of he and Whitney. Meanwhile, Ethan calls Judge Reilly to ask him about the motions he sent. The Judge says that he'll meet him at the hospital for the wedding. Perplexed, Ethan asks who is getting married. 'Theresa Crane of course and that Jared Casey fellow.'

Chad storms into the Seascape and Vincent asks him to tell Whitney who he really loves. She can't follow, Vincent explains that Valerie is the woman of his dreams and she made him forget all other women. Just like Chad forgot all other women when he met her. What a pretty thing to say! Whitney spots Theresa and walks over to her as Chad starts threatening Vincent. Vincent tells him that he can't be stopped and Whitney will find out at just the right time. Meanwhile, Theresa says that the wedding is going ahead and she hasn't told Ethan because he would just try and stop it.
