In celebration of our beloved soap's move to its new home on DIRECTV's the 101, fans are encouraged to come out to a special Halloween event. The upcoming haunted holiday will also mark one other thing worth celebrating: The birth of Harmony's ultimate witch, Tabitha Lenox (Juliet Mills). Show your support and come out to see your favorite Passions stars and spend some time basking in the fun with fellow fans as Kay (Heidi Mueller) emcees the special event. It is being be held on Saturday, October the 20th at the world famous Universal City Walk at Universal Studios Hollywood from 2:30 PM until 5:30 PM.

Complete Halloween attire will be required to participate in the 15-minute attempt to set a world record for the 'Largest Halloween Gathering' which will take place at approximately 3:45 PM. In accordance with the official Guinness World Record (TM) guidelines, participants in the event are required to wear traditional Halloween costumes. Masks and other inappropriate costumes will be disqualified from participation. Participants who arrive dressed as witches will be entered into a raffle. The prize: A lunch with the cast of Passions on the set of the show! The first 500 participants to arrive will be awarded a special trick-or-treat gift bag at the conclusion of the event.

Passions moved to Direct TV because its ratings were not good? Well for one they are still on the bottom of the ratings, and two if not enough people watched Passions in the first place why would they wanna pay to watch it? I watched Passions every day when it was on NBC, but I will not pay the $400 deposit for Direct Tv to watch it. Nor will I pay $20 a month to watch it. I guess the producers don't care about the few loyal fans who did watch theei show.
