I just made the switch to Directv and I'm not certain what they big deal is with switching. I realize that some people can't get the service where they are, but hey...for those of you people dealing with the cable company, I'm getting more bang for my buck with Directv. You might consider switching. The install took less than 45 minutes and was quick and easy. The Directv people have been great and I'm definitely glad I made the change so that now I can watch Passions which I've missed since it went off of network television.

I would love to pay to watch Passions online, however I cannot afford it. I simply can't afford $20/month for one show. As another person noted, I already pay too much for cable. I cannot switch to direct tv, I wish I could. I am really upset that I can't watch Passions anymore. I too have watched since DAY ONE! Not missing ONE SINGLE EPISODE! I am truly a die hard fan, I just cannot afford to pay. And, if I could afford it I would be upset as well that I have to pay $20 to watch it on my computer instead of my tv, but I would do it because I miss it so much!

Alright if NBC could put this show online free!! Why is it that as much money that Direct Tv makes, that they are charging a "subscription fee". I am also tired of these "exclusively on/at" things going on now. Prison Break (FOX) allows special previews for American Express card holders ONLY, Passions ONLY on Direct Tv, "1408" ONLY at Blockbuster, etc. Not to mention has anyone realized that the commercials are getting out of control? One of the benefits of having cable &/or satellite used to be fewer commercials, but the prices of both continue to go higher as well as the amount of commercials. Come on now get with the program. Direct Tv-You have to realize not everyone can have satellite due to location or being in an apt. But if you really want more customers-make the prices a lot better as well as the amount of commercials. Bring it back to the way it was before.
