If you are going to be in the Los Angeles area anytime soon, be sure to make a stop off at the
Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising Museum. There you will find the 2nd Annual Art of Outstanding Television Costume Design Exhibition. The exhibit is a showcase for more than forty years of excellent costume design for television. Many shows from TV history on display, from Bewitched to Entourage, but Passions is the only show from daytime deemed worthy of a position in the show. The soap's Emmy®-nominated costume designers and costume supervisors are finally getting some of the recognition they deserve for making Passions one of the best looking shows on daytime, dressed or not. Costume Designer Diana Eden and costumers Sheryl Smyres and Phil Wayne were in attendance for the July 28th opening of the exhibit which features such memorable costumes as those from the award-winning Bollywood episode.
Soaps.com congratulates everyone being honored in the exhibit and would like to thank them for making the world a little more beautiful. If anyone is lucky enough to attend, please be sure to come back and tell us all about it. The exhibition is open to the public free of charge until September the 29th, 2007.
