The always fascinating Erin Cardillo (Esme Vanderheusen) recently sent us a note to tell us about her latest project. Miss Cardillo was excited to inform us that there will be a staged reading of her first play Mercy Park in the Los Angeles area this month. "I have an amazing director and cast, and I'm so thrilled to be able to share my work with you," she enthused. Her play tells the story of Rose and Avery, two people from very different worlds who come together in Mercy Park, an extraordinary place at the center of a dreary city. The play mixes past and present time as it unfolds their complex love story.
