    You do love me!

    Tuesday, July 03 2007

At Chad's, Eve tries to calm Whitney down. She refuses to forget what Chad has done to her. Eve is sure that Chad still loves her, Miles and the baby and only wants what's best for them. Whitney is sure that the only thing right for Miles is getting him away from his father. Who knows how many other men he's slept with? 'None. I'm not gay,' Chad repeats. That's not what she wants to hear and, besides, she doesn't care anymore. She just wants to take her son away. Chad reminds her that he is their son and he has never done anything but protect him. When Eve agrees with Chad, Whitney becomes even more livid. Eve tries to calm them and begs them to be reasonable. When they continue arguing, Eve accuses them of behaving like spoiled brats. Whitney runs toward Miles' room when Chad stops her and tells her that he loves her and their children. She tells him again that there is nothing he can do to change things. He begs her to tell him what to do and not to throw away what they have. 'We're done forever,' she insists. If he loved her, he would have been faithful. She wishes she could believe him when he swears that it would never happen again, but she can't. Nonetheless, he remembers the good times they had and will still fight for them. She wishes that he'd stop making him think of everything they've been through. 'Don't make me fight you,' he threatens. If she takes his children away, he will fight with everything he's got. As they continue to fight, Miles wakes up and walks in. Eve picks him up and the parents sit with him until Chad gives Whitney a 'goodnight kiss' for his son's benefit.

    Changing for the Good

    Friday, June 29 2007

Eve, sporting a new hairdo, returns home and tells Whitney that Spike buried Jessica alive but they managed to rescue her just in time. What's going on in this town? she wonders. On the good side, Whitney tells her mother that Theresa and Ethan are engaged. 'So maybe things are finally looking up?' Eve is also excited that she will soon see her long lost son. She wonders what he could look like; gorgeous like her daughters perhaps? Whitney smiles and goes upstairs. Moments later, Eve hears her scream. Her daughter runs down and tells her that Miles has gone missing. Eve confesses that she left Miles with Chad. 'That degenerate!' Whitney says. She gets on the phone and calls the police to report a kidnapping before running over to Chad's. Eve follows her daughter over to Chad's where Sam soon arrives. Whitney tells Sam that Chad is gay, although he denies it. When Whitney asks Sam to arrest Chad, he refuses; Chad is completely within his rights to have his son. 'What if my baby walks in and finds him in bed with another man?' she asks.

Tired of Being a Puppy Dog?

    Friday, June 22 2007

Eve calls Valerie into her office after she was attacked by the blackmailer. She's just surprised that Valerie refused to let a doctor check her out. Valerie assures her that she's fine and she has some news: Eve's son wants to meet her. She offers to set up the meeting between her, Julian and their son. Eve wants to tell Julian herself, but Valerie has something to add: Her son wants her and Julian to get back together again; he wants the family he's never had. Eve wishes that she could give him that, but she doesn't think she can. When she leaves to track Julian down, Valerie gets an odd look on her face.

'It does seem to get better over time,' Julian sighs as he and Ivy retire to the couch. She knows that he's still a conniving scoundrel, but she doesn't care. They don't need to spend the rest of their lives as Eve and Sam's castoffs; they should live their lives openly, they'll be happier that way. When he wonders if she's really gotten over Sam, she asks him if he's gotten over his feelings for Eve. He insists that things are over between he and Eve just as they are between her and Sam. It was all a fantasy for something they lost when they were young. Ivy's happy to be with a man that loves her when he knows all her faults. As they climb back on the desk for another round, Eve arrives, thinking that she might give him another chance for their son's sake. When she opens the door and finds him on top of Ivy, she screams in disgust. 'Aren't you supposed to knock?' Julian awkwardly asks. 'What is it with having sex on the desk?' Eve asks, disgusted. Julian and Ivy obviously deserve each other. Ivy says that they're happy and in love. Julian, somewhat half-heartedly, agrees, explaining that Ivy appreciates the 'real' him. Which one? Eve wonders, there are so many and she's seen too much of all of them. He asks her why she's there. She admits that she was there to talk about their son and he his desire to meet them. At this point, Eve thinks it might be best that their son never met him. God help him if he takes after his father in any fashion! After Eve storms out, Ivy says that she's just jealous.

    Hellzapoppin'

    Thursday, June 07 2007

Valerie is playing with her gun while she thinks about killing Julian. She hides the gun away as Eve arrives for news about her son. Valerie hands her the DNA evidence and Eve wonders why he won't identify himself to her. She asks Eve if she and Julian are going to get back together. 'That's not going to happen,' Eve says, but it doesn't change the fact that they want to be reunited with their son. Valerie tells Eve that Theresa just gave Julian more power at the company: He must have something he's using to force her to give him power. Eve seems confused, but has to leave to check on TC. Before she goes, she asks Valerie to say a prayer for Julian. Once she's gone, Valerie gets her gun out again. 'Julian won't be meeting your son Dr. Russell. He'll be meeting a bullet.' Later, Vincent is seen searching through Valerie's desk. He takes out the file on Julian and Eve's child and Valerie's gun. 'This could come in handy,' he says. 'Wait till they see what I have planned next.'

    It's Complicated

    Wednesday, May 30 2007

At home, Whitney thinks back to catching Chad and Vincent together. Eve knocks on the door and Whitney runs to her mother's arms weeping. Her mother asks her what's wrong. 'He's gay,' Whitney explains. Eve isn't following this so Whitney explains it in more detail. Her whole marriage has been nothing but a lie. As she breaks into tears, Eve holds her baby close. She feels so humiliated. Every time he looked her in the eyes and told her that he loved only her, it was just a horrible lie. She hates him for what he's done; he's put not only her life, but the life of her baby at risk. Her mother tells her that she'll need to talk to Chad about this. Whitney can't. If it was a woman he had cheated with, maybe she could talk about it, but he was with a man. 'The only thing I need to talk to Chad about is a divorce.'

    I Can't be a Good Witch!

    Monday, May 28 2007

In Eve's office, Julian is having deja vu when he find out that little Ethan isn't his son. Theresa has done the same thing to him that Ivy did. He knows exactly who the real father is, he just can't believe that he didn't figure this out before. Sure that Theresa must have been having sex with Ethan while she was on her honeymoon with him, he starts to snoop in her medical files to see when she was actually on birth control. It's soon clear that Ethan was the father. None of this makes sense to Eve. Why would Theresa lie to Ethan about this all along? To get control of Crane, he explains. Eve finds it hard to accept that Theresa would do all of this just for money. Julian wants to tell Ethan right now, but she won't let him. It would be too cruel to drop it on him like this and the media would be all over it. Julian doesn't care; Theresa's been heartless and she deserves what's coming to her. Eve wishes he'd let Theresa tell Ethan herself. He tells her that he will wait and she leaves to check on a patient. 'I'm so sorry Eve...Theresa doesn't deserve my compassion. I'm going to blow the lying little b*** out of the water!' he vows.

    Carried Away

    Friday, May 25 2007

Arriving in Eve's office, Julian has a request for his former lover. She doesn't want to talk to him, but he insists that this is a medical matter. He's received a peculiar text message telling him to check his son's DNA. They assume this must be about their son together. She reads the message and can't make any sense of it. 'Maybe it's not about our son,' she suggests. Maybe it is about Fox? Couldn't Ivy have lied about him just like she did about Ethan? He sadly starts to wonder if none of his children are really his. He goes on to beg her for another chance, but it's too late for her. He then asks her to check Fox's DNA just in case. She wonders if one of the secrets that JT was keeping could have been that Fox was not his son. Even if Fox isn't his son, he admits, he loves him so much now that it won't matter. As she checks through the results, she confirms that Fox is his son. He's relieved, but then realizes that the message must be about the child he had with Theresa. Checking the little Ethan's DNA, she quickly discovers that he is not the biological father. Julian is finding this difficult to understand, but Eve assures him that it's true. He realizes that Theresa must have known all along and was using her son to control everything. What a fool he's been never to have realized before who little Ethan's father must really be.

    Deep Down, Aren't we All?

    Wednesday, May 23 2007

In the mausoleum, Theresa holds Ethan in her arms while flames and smoke surround them. She confesses to him that he is little Ethan's father. After her confession gushes out, she begs for forgiveness, but the ceiling begins collapsing on them. Outside, Paloma and Whitney hear what sounds like things falling apart. Eve arrives as Noah and Chad begin hacking at the door with axes. They kick the door open and Noah spots the bodies: It's too late! he yells. They manage to get Ethan and Theresa out as the fire department arrives. Eve gets the victims on oxygen while the blackmailer, watching from the bushes, mourns the fact that they had already picked up their best suit-dress for Theresa and Ethan's funerals. 'Oh well...I still might get to wear it.' As Theresa recovers, she breathlessly tells Whitney that she told Ethan the truth... but he didn't say anything. After being treated by paramedics, they're taken up to the mansion. Theresa continues to wonder what Ethan is thinking about, but it's impossible to tell if there's anything going on in his mind. Suddenly Chad gets a call from Vincent. He's at the gay bar 'where it all began' and asks him to come over. Chad says no, but Vincent reminds him that if he breaks his heart, it will end up breaking Whitney's. Chad agrees to come. He tells Noah and Paloma that he is going to end things and they both insist on coming along to back him up. After sending them out to wait, he motions Whitney over to give her an excuse. Left alone, Theresa asks Ethan what's next for them after he has heard her confession. He can't remember anything thanks to the smoke inhalation, but he'd like to know what it was that she confessed. She straps on her oxygen mask and breathes deep. Before they can continue, Eve tells them to keep their oxygen masks on and takes Ethan away. Whitney returns and asks what happened. Ethan passed out, Theresa explains. Suddenly, Whitney gets a text message asking her if she wants the surprise of her life. If she does, she better come down to the bar.

    A Birthday to Remember

    Wednesday, May 16 2007

At the mansion, Theresa and Whitney come down the stairs eager to know the results of their pregnancy tests. They try to focus on Chad's party and hope that there won't be any dead bodies this time. Ethan walks in and Whitney invites him to the party. He says that he also has a surprise planned for tonight. Theresa's had enough surprises to last a lifetime, she says and begins to worry. Eve arrives to help out and she goes in the kitchen with her daughter. Theresa starts to ramble at Ethan and begs him to stay away. He begins massaging her neck and saying that he can't do that. Jared walks in, sees them together and asks what's going on. Tess explains that they are just planning a party for Chad. That sounds good to him so he takes her hand and they walk off to make preparations. Ethan has other plans to put in motion and gets on the phone to set things up.
