In Eve's office, Vincent taunts his mother saying she almost killed one patient and now Jonathan is probably dead. Vincent tells her to kill herself to stop the pain and once she's gone her family can start to heal. Eve takes the scalpel from Vincent, takes another drink and starts to cry. As Vincent urges her on, Eve says she'll do it and tells Vincent she's sorry and asks him to tell everyone else how sorry she is. She starts to cut her wrist and draws blood, as Vincent looks on. Eve hesitates and tells Vincent killing herself is a sin, but he tells her that continuing to hurt people is the real sin. Eve says she wishes she could go back and fix things and that she didn't mean to hurt Jonathan. Vincent yells at her for caring more about the baby than him because while he's dead, all she wants to talk about is someone else's kid. Vincent tells her he needed to punish her and that he was the one to increase the dosage on Jonathan's prescription. He tells her that no one will ever know the truth and they will all blame her. Eve starts to panic over cutting her wrist and wants to get help. Vincent tells her that no one can help her now. Eve tries to get up and staggers a bit before falling to the floor passing out. Vincent kneels down beside her and says, "Out like a light for all eternity." He laughs and stands up but then has a pain in his stomach. He leans on the desk and gets Eve's blood on his hand. He starts to get nauseous at the smell of blood and bolts from the room covering his mouth.

At the hospital, Gwen tells Eve to leave the ER because her son could die because of her. Julian asks what is going on and Ethan tells them that the dosage prescribed was wrong and it could kill Jonathan. Eve wants to help Jonathan, but Gwen stops her. Eve defends herself and says that she wrote the correct dosage for an infant. Vincent lurks in the hallway, pleased that Eve is being blamed, as she continues to defend herself. Gwen tells Eve she will have her arrested if Jonathan dies and tells her to leave. Eve insists it was a mistake, that she prescribed the correct medication. Rebecca and Gwen order her to leave and Julian agrees that they should go and leads Eve out of the ER.

Eve and Julian go back to Eve's office and she defends herself to him. Julian reminds her about the prescription she messed up for her other patient, but Eve says she didn't screw up this time. Eve accuses him of not believing her, but Julian assures her he does. He tells her to stay in the office and he'll go back to the ER to see if there's been any change. She agrees to stay put and he leaves.

Eve wonders what she'll do and heads over to her desk and pulls out a bottle of booze. Before she opens it, she decides it's a bad idea, but then hears Vincent's voice. Vincent enters the room and Eve says he's a figment of her imagination, but Vincent insists he's real and puts her hand on his chest. He tells her it's his heart beating and it felt just like that before he fell off the cliff. Eve cries and says he's not real - he's dead. Vincent insists he's real and Eve goes for the bottle and takes a drink. Eve closes her eyes and says when "I open my eyes you will be gone." When she does, Vincent isn't there and she thinks it was just an illusion. Vincent suddenly comes up behind her, scaring her and lashes out at her for being a bad mother and doctor. Vincent tells Eve that Jonathan will die because of her. Eve clings to the bottle and cries. She insists that he isn't there and that he's dead, but Vincent continues to taunt her about abandoning him when he was a baby and that her other children and husband left her because she's a bad person. He tells her that she's a bad doctor and that she's unqualified and insecure. Vincent then tells her that Jonathan will die because she was drinking and wrote the wrong prescription. Eve continues to drink as he berates her over Jonathan. Eve cries, "What have I done?" Eve tells Vincent she'll never get past the death of a child and that she's a bad person and doesn't deserve to live. Vincent picks up a scalpel and tells Eve to do something positive. He tells her to atone for her crimes by killing herself before she causes more pain to the people she loves.

The End of Tabitha?

In her office, Eve tells Julian she needs to get to the ER to check on Jonathan. Julian tells her she already prescribed his medication and that she should stay and have something to eat, worried that she's been drinking. Eve says she's not drunk, but Julian tells her he can smell the alcohol and someone else might be able to as well. He's worried she could lose her medical license, but Eve assures him that nothing will go wrong. Julian pleads with her to rethink this as she smells of liquor, but Eve insists she's fine. Julian thinks going to the ER will add to her stress and she should let another doctor handle Jonathan. Eve says she's fine and that hearing Vincent's voice is what drove her to drink in the first place. Julian convinces her to eat some clam chowder and says that she shouldn't go back to the ER where people will be able to smell liquor on her breath. Eve agrees and thinks that the medication she prescribed for the baby is working and that he'll be okay in no time.

Julian has gone out for coffee and when he comes back, Eve says that she keeps thinking about Vincent. She tells him that she knows he's dead, but she keeps seeing and hearing him. Eve thinks maybe she really is crazy, but Julian assures her she's not. Julian tells her they should get out of town so she can clear her head. Eve thinks it's a good idea and Julian suggests going to Italy to stay at a farmhouse in Tuscany. Eve thinks it's a great idea, but needs to wait until Jonathan is doing better. Julian asks if she's okay to finish her shift and Eve assures him she is, saying that she finished her soup and will drink her coffee. Eve heads out to the ER to make sure the medication she prescribed for Jonathan has brought his fever down.

Eve runs into the ER and Gwen slaps her. Eve is shocked and asks why she did that. Gwen tells her, "My son could die because of you." Vincent watches from afar and remarks that it's all going downhill for his mommy.

Next Time on Passions:

Eve tells Julian that if anything happens to Jonathan "It's all my fault."

The nurse doesn't have good news for Gwen and Ethan.

Kay seemingly sees Tabitha and Ivy says, "You're alive?"

The Evil Plots Thicken

Julian brings Eve coffee in her office and Eve talks about her guilt over Vincent and how she was the one who outed him as the killer. Eve tells Julian she regrets what happened with him but that she won't let it control her or her future. Vincent listens at the door in doctor's scrubs and plots against his mother.
