Fox asks Noah about Fancy. He says it's over. Fox blames it on Luis. "Those Lopez-Fitzgerald men can't keep their hands off other guys' women." Noah doesn't blame Luis. It was over before Luis came into the picture. He tells Fox how Fancy agreed to be friends, the kiss of death to a relationship. When Noah sees Fox and Kay, however, it gives him hope.
Tabitha questions why Endora put the whammy on Fox. Endora did it because she doesn't want Fox to get hurt. Tabitha wants nature to take its course and let Kay and Miguel get back together. Then the she and Endora will be "safe from Charity's gruesome goodness."

Noah and Ethan are still in the coffee house discussing the confused state of Ethan's love life. Ethan wants to be faithful to his wife but he's weak when it comes to Theresa. It isn't just the sex. He really loves her. Problem is he loves his wife too. Plus he feels obligated to her. Noah says that's not good enough when it comes to marriage. Who does Ethan want to be with for the rest of his life? How can he stay with someone when his heart is somewhere else? Ethan has thought about leaving Gwen but he stops short because he wants to stay in the marriage. Noah offers that he can have a family with Theresa and Little Ethan.
Ethan agrees everything Noah is saying makes sense but he couldn't live with the decision to leave Gwen. Noah just wants Ethan to be happy. From his own experience he knows that life is very delicate. He's learned that you can't afford to stay with the wrong person the rest of that life. Problem is, Ethan doesn't know who the right or wrong person is. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. He can't choose.
Noah literally runs into the coffee shop and into Ethan. He shows Ethan the tabloid's front page with Jared's, Theresa's and Ethan's photos. Ethan thinks the article is horrible but only because Gwen will see it. Noah notices that Ethan is back to square one—stuck between two women. Ethan admits he has no clue what to do about it.
Noah gives Ethan love advice. "End it," he says at first. Noah puts himself up as an example. He is still in love with Fancy and she doesn't want anything to do with him. On the other hand, Fox loves two women and both women love him back. Therefore he needs to make up his mind. Ethan knows this but it isn't that easy. He is happy with his life with Gwen and their child but all he can do is think about Theresa. He has been fighting his feelings for her. He loves her. Noah advises him to be honest and tell both women the truth. Ethan is afraid if he does that, he will lose Gwen. Ivy walks into the coffee house in time to hear this. After looking at the tabloid, she jumps to the conclusion that it is all Theresa's fault.
Ivy warns Ethan to stay away from Theresa. She rips out men's hearts. Besides, she won't let another son of hers ruin his life over the wrong woman. Of course, she is talking about Fox and Kay. She leaves after getting a phone call.
Ethan decides his mother is right. He can't leave his wife. Ethan doesn't want to keep anything from Gwen but he doesn't want to hurt her or Theresa. Noah suggests that he choose Theresa.
Noah wonders why Miguel is dancing so close with Siren after admitting he was still in love with Kay. Noah thinks Miguel's dancing is just a cover for being hurt by love. Sam says he ought to know since he's been covering up his hurt from being dumped by Fancy by going out with every woman he can. Noah thinks he has the right to do that since he's young and single and his father can stop the "Father knows Best" routine. Sam leaves just before Fancy shows up.
Fancy is mad at all men including Noah. Noah figures she's really just mad at Luis. She admits that that the jerk, Luis, led her on. Fancy wants to drown her troubles in martinis. Noah cuts off her supply. Fancy's not ready to stop and Noah doesn't have the right to stop her. Noah says it's his job as a bartender and his duty as her friend. Fancy doesn't consider him a friend after all they've been through. Noah wants to be friends. Fancy reluctantly agrees to try if Noah promises to be open and honest with the next woman to come into his life. If he isn't he will lose out on what could be the real thing. Noah promises but he doesn't believe Fancy can be honest. She's not being honest about being over Luis.
At the Blue Note Siren is tries to get Miguel drunk so he will have sex with her. Miguel goes to the bar to get them some drinks and talks to Noah behind the bar. Noah thinks Siren is hot.
