Marty places blame on Natalie, Starr gives Todd a warning, and Viki gives Charlie the okay to take Dorian's job offer...
In the exam room the doctor informs John and Marty that she can't find the baby's heartbeat. Marty lost her baby due to the fall. After the doctor leaves, Marty cries, "I'm so sorry I lost our baby." John convinces Marty not to blame herself. The only person to blame is the one who pushed Marty down the stairs. "I felt the shove from behind," Marty remembers. When John suggests talking to Natalie, who was at the top of the stairs when he found her, Marty says, "Natalie didn't see someone push me… because Natalie's the one who did it." Marty fills John in on all of the nasty things Natalie said to her. "She wanted our baby gone so she could be with you," Marty accuses. John agrees Natalie has a big mouth but doesn't think she's violent. A nurse comes in to prepare Marty for a D&C.
Outside Marty's room, Natalie tells Tea that Marty's baby has to be okay. Tea can't believe someone would push Marty. Tea thinks back to her conversation with Todd. Though Natalie questions Marty's doctor, she refuses to provide any information. Later, Natalie gets caught looking at Marty's chart. Over talk of the fall Tea says whoever pushed Marty could be charged with murder. After Tea leaves, Natalie says, "Oh my God, what have I done?" Suddenly, John appears and makes eye contact with Natalie. "We lost the baby," John tells her. "I'm so sorry about the baby," Natalie says but John replies, "Are you really?"
Todd enters his office, remembering his argument with Marty. Starr appears and lashes out at Todd for what he did to Cole. Todd claims he was trying to protect her then finishes by saying, "That's why I did all of it." Starr wonders what else he did but he denies anything. Todd's just happy to hear that Starr and Cole were fighting because she defended him. Starr reminds Todd that if he ever tries to change the fact that Cole is in her life they're going to have a big problem. "You're always going to be my girl," Todd says. Starr begs him not to cause anymore issues. Later, Tea barges in and demands to know if Todd pushed Marty down the stairs.
When Kelly returns to the mansion Jack asks, "Did you find out who offed your mom?" Kelly tells Blair and Jack about her and John's lack of findings but vows not to give up on her search. Later, Kelly overhears Blair tell Jack that the vase her mother made is ugly and they'll hide it away later. Kelly interrupts and snaps at Blair for the comment. To make up for it Blair picks some fresh flowers and puts them in the vase.
Markko arrives home and leaves a message for Langston about a famous director who's in town. He sees Cole and hears about what happened with Todd, over Hannah. Cole assures Markko that he and Starr don't have any cheating issues. Markko doesn't with Langston either, which causes Cole to cringe. Markko admits he's going to surprise Langston with a room at The Palace on prom night then leaves to go talk to Renee. Starr arrives home shortly after and upsets Cole by saying she'll never push Todd completely out of their lives.
Still at The Palace Viki and Charlie agree how right it feels to be back together. Charlie promises never to give Viki another reason to leave him again. Dorian stops them from leaving and brings up her business offer. Dorian goes over her offer then Charlie privately talks it over with Viki. Reluctantly, Viki assures Charlie that taking Dorian's job will not cause issues for them. However, Viki warns Dorian not to pull any stunts! Alone, Dorian makes a call to have the office right next to hers cleaned out for Charlie.
Langston meets Ford upstairs in a Palace hotel room. He explains it's reserved for a famous director. He and his wife won't be there until tomorrow. Langston needs to act like his wife to keep the ruse up. Langston looks grim and admits this is where she and Markko first made love. Ford thinks it's sweet but suggests they make some grown-up memories. Just as Langston wonders if Ford is ever with anyone else, Karen calls. Ford hangs up, claims it was a film student then tells Langston, "You're the only woman for me." Langston peels Ford's clothes off, wishing they could go public with their relationship. Things heat up, as Ford kisses Langston.
Back downstairs, Markko makes plans with Renee to rent out the same room that he and Langston first made love in on prom night. After he hears a waiter taking a room service order from the famous director Markko asks a friend who works there for a favor.
Upstairs, someone knocks on the hotel door. Langston gets out of bed, ready to play the role of the director's wife. Little does she know Markko is dressed as a waiter outside the door, with hopes to meet the famous man!
