    Dr. Marty Saybrooke...

    Friday, May 01 2009
Powell gets another visitor, Cole is forced to face his demons, Bo and Nora are faced with their feelings, and John goes to Viki for answers...

In their motel room, Marty is shocked to read that the person signing Powell out for visits is using her name! John and Marty wonder who is posing as her then John gets an idea of someone who may know something to help them…

Arriving at Todd’s, Starr makes it clear that she’s unhappy, but Todd says she’ll be staying there until she’s eighteen! Starr sneaks off to make a call…

Back at the mansion, Dorian calls Langston to warn her about Starr’s absence then almost goes into Starr’s bedroom but gets an idea on how to help Blair’s kids!

In Starr’s room, Cole’s head spins until his eyes reach a photo of him and Starr. “Starr, I can’t make it without you,” he says then receives a call from Starr, begging him to stay strong, but then Todd gets on the phone screaming for him to stay the hell away from his daughter, saying, “She doesn’t need a dopper loser in her life!” After the line goes dead, Cole starts having awful hallucinations about how Todd and Marty want to get away from him – the junky! Next, Cole sees Markko, who is bashing him for using their friendship just to pass a drug test! As Cole crawls around on the floor, Schuyler appears and says, “You pushed Starr away, right into my loving arms. Starr wants a real man, not a little stoned boy.” Just as Cole tries to convince himself that his visions aren’t real, Nora appears to him, with Matthew by her side, who blames Cole for the loss of his legs! Cole screams, “Stop it!” then watches as Matthew stands and says, “You should be in that chair instead of me! It should be you!”

After Todd hangs up the phone, he warns Starr not to talk to Schuyler Joplin again – never realizing that Cole was on the other end! Though Starr is revealed that Todd didn’t know she was talking to Cole, she starts bashing Todd for Dr. Joplin’s death, as well as Hope’s. Starr then informs her father that Cole is suffering now, because of him, then Todd promises he never meant for anything bad to happy to her baby – but Starr doesn’t buy any of it and confesses that she’s convinced that she subconsciously decided to give her baby to Marcie, just to get back at him! “Maybe I’m a chip off the old block, Dad,” Starr cries. However, Todd knows that Starr is so much better than him then listens as Starr begs him to let her leave. Starr then confesses, “It’s Cole, he needs me or he’ll die.”

As they stare into each other eyes, still in Bo’s car, about ready to kiss, Marcie appears screaming, “Hey, you kids aren’t supposed to be necking out here!” After Marcie realizes that it’s Bo and Nora, she rambles on with apologies, as Bo claims they weren’t making out – rather they were just worried about Matthew. After Marcie informs them of the tough day Matthew had, she convinces Nora and Bo to allow Matthew to handle the troubles himself.

Over at Llanfair, Jessica deters Viki from the back patio then goes outside to meet Brody, where they talk about having to sneak around for Gigi’s sake. Brody can’t wait until they don’t have to hide. Back in the foyer, Viki gets a call from the Sitwell Institute, saying that her children, Jessica and Kevin, were there to visit Powell yesterday! Once Viki hangs up, she calls Kevin to see how things are in London then heads to find Jessica, but Dorian arrives at her door, demanding that Viki get the kids away from Todd! Though Viki promises to look in on the kids, Dorian compares her to John – the other person who has done wrong by the children! Suddenly, Viki gets another call – it’s John!

After Viki gets rid of Dorian, she takes John’s call and realizes that he and Marty were the ones who were posing as Jessica and Kevin – visiting Powell. When John explains that he’s trying to find the killer, before he kills again, he asks if there was anyone who played a big part in Powell’s life, to which Viki says, “Wait, there was someone…” Later, Viki goes out to the patio, and, as Brody hides, Viki comments on how much Jessica is glowing – then finds out why… Viki hears a rustle in the bushes and goes to call the police, reminding Jessica of the murderer who’s on the loose, but Jessica instructs Brody to come out, leaving Viki with her mouth open!

John hangs up then relays to Marty that there was a woman in Powell’s past – Rebecca Lewis! Looking Rebecca up online, they find that though she worked at a hospital, she quit six months ago! Knowing they can’t do anything until they hear back from John’s contact about Rebecca, John and Marty comment on how tired they are then look nervously at the only bed.

At the Sitwell Institute, a woman appears, wearing a doctor’s coat reading ‘Dr. Marty Saybrooke’, who is furious to see that Powell has had a few visitors! Again, the imposter signs Marty’s name to a form for Powell!

When the woman posing as Marty enters Powell’s padded room, Powell smiles and says, “Hello Rebecca!” Talking quietly about Marty and John, Powell is pleased that they followed the trail to him then says, “Just where I want him!” Once Rebecca gets Powell out of his straitjacket, Rebecca professes her love to him then Powell says, “That’s why you’re going to get me out of here… I have places to go, people to kill!”

I'll be happy when Starr gets her facts straight. The reason Schuyller's mother killed herself is because she thought that she had missed the diagnosis of Starr's baby.

How can Starr say that Todd never loved her when he risked his life to save hers. She also just admitted to why she really wanted to give the baby to Marcie, it wasn't that she was thinking of the baby, she only wanted to hurt her father. That's real mature. She did get one thing right, she is just like her father.

I can't belive nobody can hear all that yelling that Cole is doing. I believe all these hallucinations he is having will help him in the end.

As for Nora, kids tease each other all the time, it doesn't matter if they are in a wheel chair or not.

Are they making it appear that Rebecca is the killer. It did appear to be a woman because she was real slender.

Blair is getting out of that hospital bed now that her husband is on the run with Marty;however, she couldn't do it for her kids. She might have been able to keep them, but I guess she loves John more than her kids.

Okay, so now we're supposed to believe that Rebecca Lewis has been getting Powell Lord out of the nuthouse so he can go on a killing rampage. Yeah, right. I think there must be at least 2 sets of writers at OLTL - the ones that write about Jess/Brody, Vicki/Charlie, Starr/Cole, and then the ones that give us Stacey & Powell Lord/Rebecca Lewis. I'm going to start paying attention to who the writers are for each episode to see if there is a correlation between certain writers and really bad storylines.

HipHopGrandma, I think Rebecca is doing the killings. Powell told Rebecca he can't for her to break him out so that he can go and kill people. That makes me think for now she is doing the killings.

Rebecca is pretending to be Marty so that She can get Powell released. So he hasn't been out yet to kill anybody. That's just my opinion.

cowboysfan i agree rebecca might be doing all the killing...i know noone else is doing all of this...

I thought the killer was supposed to be someone already on the canvas. Rebecca and Powell haven't been on the show since the early 90's. Actually, I just went to Wikipedia and checked; Powell hasn't been on since 1994, and neither has Rebecca. So why do we even care about them killing anyone? I'd much rather it had been someone like Bess, taking care of Jessica; or even Nikki Smith or Jean or Tori. Someone we actually give a d*** about. To bring in killers that haven't been around for 15 years and only old girls like me remember, well its just another insult the writers have thrown at us. They are working my last nerve.
