    Rachel Returns!

    Wednesday, April 08 2009
Nora catches up with her daughter, Starr confesses her feelings for Schuyler, Ray steps in to help Dorian, and Blair gives Marty a warning...

When Rachel arrives with Hank at the Buchanan mansion, Nora is filled with excitement at the sight of her daughter! After a hug, Rachel tells her mom that there's no place she'd rather be. Realizing everyone already left the party, Hank goes to find Bo while Nora fills Rachel in on Matthew, to which Rachel reminds her that her mother needs to deal with her issues with Cole - and how she blames herself for not realizing Cole was on drugs! Nora talks about how Cole's drug use reminded her of Rachel's. No matter how much Nora talks about how Cole is promising to stop doing drugs, Rachel explains how an addict's mind works then says she's there to help. Nora is happy to be with Hank and Rachel again.

Talia and Fish arrive at Todd's to question him about Zach. After Todd admits that he's seen Zach since his return, Talia and Fish warn him to watch his back then leave…

Outside, Zach comes out of the shadows after Talia and Fish leave Todd's. However, before he can enter Todd's, Cole arrives, pushes his way through the door and demands that Todd hear him out! With Zach listening from the doorway, Todd mocks Cole about being high then listens as Cole tells him about Starr - and the teacher who is trying to get in her pants! As Cole fills Todd in, about how he saw Starr and Schuyler kissing and how it appeared that they both just finished getting dressed when he saw them earlier at Schuyler's, Zach sneaks into Todd's house! After Todd grabs Cole and asks, "Are you lying to me?" Cole assures him that he's not then Todd walks out, asking Cole to lock up when he leaves!

Just as Cole is getting ready to leave, Zach appears - and Cole recognizes him as one of Marty's rapists! When Zach rants about how Marty, the 'witch', ruined his life, Cole attacks him - but Zach manages to knock Cole out, thinking this is the best way to get back at Marty… through her son!

Over at the hospital, Marty pays Blair a visit and apologizes for pulling John away from her the night she was stabbed. "It won't happen again," Marty promises, to which Blair replies, "You bet your butt it won't." Blair assures Marty that there's more to her marriage to John than just a means to keep the children. Wondering why Marty is really there, Blair asks if there's something she knows about the stabbing - and becomes furious to hear that Marty has been talking to John! Marty insists that Blair talk to John about it then leaves.

After John kicks through the door at Zach's motel room, he calls to report a break-in then trashes the room - and in the process, finds newspaper articles containing news on Janet, Wes and Blair's stabbings, as well as an article on Marty and Todd! When Talia and Fish arrive to find John there, John explains that he broke in - in order for them to search the place since they had no grounds for getting a warrant before!

Later, John arrives at the hospital just as Marty is leaving and tells her about finding out where Zach has been staying - and how Zach has already paid Todd a visit. "It's only a matter of time before he finds you," John warns.

In the living room at the mansion, when Dorian and Ray break from their kiss, Jack is there with his cell phone camera and yells, "Busted!" Taking a page from Todd's book, Jack blackmails Dorian and says he'll give her the phone if she gets John to back off - so his real father can be his dad! "Deal or no deal, Aunt Dorian," Jack says then warns Dorian to meet his demands, or he'll send David the photo of her kissing her hot tamale! Ray tempts Jack to send the picture but warns if he does, he'll make an enemy of him - an ex-con! Listening to Ray's prison stories about a man who once tried to blackmail him, Jack begins shaking in his boots then hands Ray the phone - but warns that John will never be his dad! After Jack apologizes to Dorian, he leaves, and Ray hands Dorian the phone then tries to comfort her - because she is not getting the support from the man she loves.

Out in the foyer, Starr tells Langston how she went to see Schuyler - and how Cole showed up and messed up everything! Langston is flabbergasted as Starr tells her what happened at Schuyler's apartment. Though Langston doesn't fully agree with Starr, she tries to be a friend to Starr, as Starr screams, "I love him!" Langston brings up Cole and wonders if turning to Schuyler is Starr's way of dealing with losing Cole. Suddenly, Jack storms in, swipes some letters off the table, and Starr sees a letter from school - addressed to her mom - about her and Schuyler's kiss! When Starr reads the letter, saying that one was sent to Todd as well, she rushes off to intercept the letter before Todd gets it!

When Ray leaves, Langston goes into the living room and asks to use Dorian's phone. However, before Dorian can stop her, Langston picks up Dorian's phone and sees the picture of Dorian and Ray kissing!

Schuyler arrives home and finds a love letter from Starr. Though Schuyler throws the letter in the trash, he can't help but pick it back up and read it, where Starr talks about how she wants him - and knows that he wants her too! Frustrated, Schuyler reads on, as Starr begs him to wait until she's of age then sits down to write her a reply but thinks better of it. As Schuyler turns around and throws the letter, he sees Todd come through his door, who picks up the letter that he was writing to Starr! "Dear Starr," Todd reads then eyes Schuyler.

Back over at Todd's, as Starr rushes through Todd's door, Zach jumps out at her and says, "Twinkle, twinkle, little Starr."

That Zach Rosen is really nuts to blame Marty for messing up his life. What does he think they did to Marty. I still remember how they stuffed her mouth so that she couldn't scream. It was awful. It gives me chills just thinking about it.

And Cole walking around threatening everybody and got knocked the f$5@ out. Everytime he gets mad at Starr, he runs to Todd to tattle, old junkie.

I think TPTB are portraying Cole in a realistic light. Glad Rachel is here. She knows exactly where Cole is coming from. I think she will help him alot when the time comes.

Ray Montez scored big with me today when he put Jack in line. All of you who think Todd is so wonderful got a good look at the results of his parenting skills today. Just because the court didn't grant him custody, he spends all of his time tearing John down in front of Jack. He was actually on the phone the other day coaching Jack on how to make John's life miserable. Jack and Starr are already showing signs of Todd's mental illness. Starr will not take no for an answer, and now Mr. J is going to get beat up by Todd because of her. I don't have too much sympathy for him because he should have nipped that friendship in the bud a long time ago, but he doesn't deserve to be beaten to a pulp by Todd, because we all know that is how Todd deals with any crisis. I hope Jack and Starr are not too far gone, but jack's attempt at blackmail today was chilling. He is so much like his father. I think Ray will be a good influence on Jack, I'm not sure about Starr, she may be too far gone.

I can't believe Blair was trying to be all smug with Marty today. John only married her to help her out. His heart is still with Marty, which will be evident very soon.

Well, Todd always blamed Marty for his life being screwed up. Why should Zach be any different?

When is Cole going to learn that ratting-out Starr to Todd never pays?? Guess he won't until he gets off the drugs!
Still grying to get used to the new Rachel. So far, she's doing a great job. Maybe she can counsel Starr too.
    Have a great day everybody!

Da-Kid . . . You are so right on about Jack and Todd's influence on him. Surely, the Todd lovers can see that!!
