Gigi makes a confession to Rex, Dallas shocks Nora, and Tess helps Todd...

Stuck in 1968, as Rex and Gigi head to the bus station in order for Rex to leave for Vietnam, Rex promises to find a way for Gigi to get back to Shane. Suddenly, a bunch of men arrive home from Vietnam - and one that looks like Brody approaches and takes Gigi in a kiss! When the Brody look-alike introduces himself as Ned Truman, Rex and Gigi explain that she's not Emma - but that she's her twin Gigi. As luck would have it, Emma (Gigi) walks in with Renee (Dallas), leaving Ned to apologize to Gigi - but leave Gigi and Rex still faced with the fact that he needs to leave!

When Ned, Emma and Renee leave, with a young Asa watching them go, Gigi begs Rex to stay - and to runaway with her - but Rex promises to come back and says he owes it to Bo to make sure the future isn't changed. After some goodbyes from Olympia (Lindsay) and Clint (Jared), Asa gives Bo (Rex) some advice about not trusting a soul in Vietnam then leaves as well.

With one more goodbye to say, Rex looks at Gigi and says, "I guess this is it." Gigi starts to cry, but Rex reminds her that it's not for good. "I want you," Rex says. "Gigi, we are going to be together. I need to know that you'll still be here when I get back. I love you, Gigi." After a kiss goodbye, Rex goes to leave, but Gigi stops him by saying, "Rex, I can't let you get on that bus - not until I say what I have to say. Don't fight just to come home for you, fight for Shane too… He's your son."

In 2008, at the Buchanan mansion, as Bo looks at a picture of Asa, he tells Clint that he went down to Texas to say goodbye to Asa - and admits that he feels so much better for doing so. Just as Nora enters the room to welcome Bo home, Dallas follows behind with her own welcome! Bo can't stop staring at Dallas, remembering 'his dream', but manages to get his composure as Dallas engages them all in a talk about what a great guy Asa was. Later, after Dallas announces that she's staying in town, and searching for a sublet, Nora insists on helping her out with a realtor and the women leave the room, to which Bo says to Clint, "Why'd you let her get away again?"

Out in the foyer, when Nora jokes with Dallas about something Rachel told her - about Dallas returning to get Clint back - Dallas laughs and says, "She sounds like a smart cookie," then leaves Nora with her mouth dropped open!

After Brody makes a call - and an appointment for a paternity test for him and Shane - he takes Shane to the hospital and explains that they are there to prove he's his dad. Brody makes out that he's doing this for Shane, as a way to prove to everyone that Shane can always count on him and, "To make it legal," Brody says. "Just in case," causing Shane to wonder if his mom is in trouble! Brody promises that Shane's mom is fine, and that she'll be home soon, but says that it's important for them to make their relationship official on paper. "Making sure that nobody can mess with our family," Brody finishes. Later, Brody convinces the doctor to take their DNA samples from the toothbrushes in a plastic bag he hands him!

When Tess arrives at Todd's and finds that Todd knows her secret - and is about to call Viki - she's saved by the bell, literally, when John appears at Todd's door - with a warrant! Just as John heads upstairs to find Todd's 'guest', his new bodyguard appears to stop John - but John walks right past him. Suddenly, Tess falls to the ground, holding her stomach, and screams, "The baby, something's wrong with the baby!" While John calls an ambulance, Tess whispers to Todd that she's fine - and just creating a distraction - leaving Todd to send his bodyguard upstairs for some towels. Once John goes outside to check for the ambulance, Todd runs upstairs.

Upstairs, as Marty's nurse is trying to lift her spirits with a make-up session, Marty shushes her and hears arguing from downstairs! Suddenly, Todd's bodyguard appears and informs Marty that they need to get out of there now and says, "Manning's orders. You're going to have to just trust me."

Shortly after, with John and Todd outside of Marty's room, John busts through the door - and a woman screams! When John sees the housekeeper in bed, taking a break, reading a book, John reminds Janet that being an accessory to kidnapping will land her in Statesville! However, Janet sticks to Todd's story, causing John to head off to look over the rest of the house - while Tess leaves unseen downstairs!

Later, Tess somehow finds where Todd's bodyguard went, opens the door to a room - and sees Marty!

While Cris and Antonio argue in a car, about being lost in Mendorra, Sarah offers to look over the map to find a quick way to the palace. With directions to the palace finally laid out, everyone talks about their plan for getting into the palace - and to Talia without Carlo finding them! Cris then suggests neutralizing Carlo once and for all! Reading a newspaper, Sarah sees an article about Talia, which says that the kingdom hasn't seen their queen since the wedding, making Antonio fear that something has happened to her! Finally, they come upon the house of Mendorra!
