    In My Sights!

    Wednesday, February 06 2008
Lee furthers his plan, Nora pays Todd a visit, Adriana confides in Layla, and Charlie and Rex come to an agreement...

Blair opens the door to find Todd with Sam in a little wagon – on top of a bushel of flowers - as a way to say thanks! Although Blair worries about Ramsey lurking around, Todd assures her he’s gotten rid of him. Just then, Nora and John arrive wanting to discuss Marcie’s case! When Blair hears Nora say that Todd wants to ask for leniency for Marcie, she’s shocked! After Blair says she’d be so proud if Todd helped Marcie, John asks, “What are you going to do, Manning?” When Blair leaves to check on Sam, Todd tells Nora, “I’ll decided when I decide.” However, once Nora leaves, John threatens he’s going to the station – with Gigi as a witness – then promises if Marcie goes down Todd's going down with her!

Suddenly, Todd gets a call from The Sun and leaves as soon as Blair comes back downstairs. As John and Sam reconnect, Blair smiles and says, “You miss him…” Before John leaves, Blair begs him to let Marcie know she’ll take care of Sam as if he were her own.

At Todd’s penthouse, Lee removes a high-powered rifle from a case and looks through its sights! Hearing a knock on the door, Lee quickly hides the gun and pays Markko for his food order. Later, as Markko is leaving the penthouse, Todd appears in the hallway and tells him to get lost!

Once inside, Todd informs Lee about his meeting with John and Nora. Although Todd worries about John’s threats, Lee pulls out the gun and tells Todd he can ‘clip’ a waitress from a mile away! Although Todd wouldn’t mind killing Marcie, he warns Lee that he’s not going to kill anyone!

Adriana meets Vincent and Layla at the diner to show off her ring. After Vincent gives the girls some time alone, Adriana confides to Layla, “I think Rex may have a son.” Although Adriana fills her in on Gigi – and her son Shane – Layla suggests Gigi was telling the truth and that Rex isn’t Shane’s father. However, Layla says if Adriana isn’t sure, she should tell Rex…

Bo accompanies Lindsay to the diner to meet with Vincent and thank him for taking care of her gallery. Over talk of how long Lindsay will be living with Bo, Bo volunteers, “Lindsay’s welcome to stay as long as she needs to.” Later, Lindsay and Vincent talk about the “Go Red Ball,” which will help heart disease awareness, and her idea to have everyone put their secrets on a heart-shaped piece of art and deposit them in a box as a way to “Get It Off Their Chest!” Briefly, Adriana stops by their table to thank Bo for her engagement ring.

Later, when the “Get It Off Your Chest” box is delivered to the diner, Lindsay tells Layla that the secrets deposited inside will be destroyed after the ball. Before Bo leaves, he smiles and suggests Lindsay put her secret in the box. Although Lindsay claims not to have any, Bo replies, “We all have secrets.”

Across town in Cherryvale, after Oliver fixes the Chief’s computer, Antonio and Talia come up with a plan to convince her Chief – and Bo – to swap her for Oliver! Later, Talia persists to purposely screw up around her Chief while Antonio puts the bug in Oliver’s head about a transfer to Cherryvale! After the Chief agrees to swap Talia for Oliver, Antonio makes a call to Bo, who’s angry for the stunt Antonio pulled in Cherryvale, but agrees to Talia’s transfer back to Llanview – on one condition… On their way back to Llanview, Antonio tells Talia about Bo’s reminder of the PD rules - not to fraternize at work!

Over at Rex’s loft, while Rex boosts about Charlie being his father, Charlie admits he told Viki about him being his son. However, no matter how much Rex touches Charlie by Rex’s happiness to have him as a dad, Charlie claims he can’t be the father Rex wants him to be – but doesn’t deny that he isn’t! Although Rex does his best to understand, he asks, “If you don’t want to be my father, why did you tell Viki about me?”

As Rex continues to ramble on about Charlie giving them a chance to get to know each other, Adriana arrives and hears – from Rex – that Charlie and he are going to take it slow as father and son. Without clarifying the truth to Rex, Charlie agrees they’ll talk soon then leaves. Listening to Rex boost about finally having this great father, Adriana says, “There’s something I need to tell you. It’s about Gigi – and her son.”

After Dorian bursts through Viki’s bedroom door, Dorian refuses to leave then says, “Not until I tell you about your friend, Charlie.” As Dorian teases about what good friends she and Charlie are, she asks, “Did you get lucky last night?” Knowing how close she and Charlie are, Viki tries to sway Dorian from further embarrassment, but Dorian replies, “If you’re so close, did Charlie tell you about the decision he made?” When Viki claims to know all about Charlie’s son, Dorian replies, “I’m surprised he took the risk.” However, after Viki says, “Why would it bother me that Rex Balsom is his son,” Dorian’s mouth drops but she replies, “I’m so happy he told you Rex Balsom is his son.” Dorian then reminds Viki of Adriana and Rex’s upcoming wedding and says she can’t wait for them to be one big happy family!

Suddenly, Charlie arrives back to find Dorian at Viki’s who says, "Viki told me that you told her about your son, Rex Balsom.” On her way out, Dorian reminds Viki that they will be heading up the committee for the "Go Red Ball" together. Once she’s gone, Charlie tells Viki he and Rex made some headway. Viki is so happy for Charlie!

Any time Amy. I meant what I said.

I was under the influence that Rex knew that Charlie is not his father. How dull is that?

The reason Dorina keeps getting into Vicky's personal life is because Vicky allows it. In the real world, someone would have punched her in the face.

As for Antonio and Office Dumbwit, I don't care if they ever get together. I never liked Officer Dumbwit and was excited for a while when they relocated her. I thought that would be the end of that, but she is back. That whole stupid thing about Antonio getting stopped just to be close to her is just too dumb for words.

These so call new writers are worse than the previous ones. How long can they make storylines drag? From what I see they can push this as long as they please. Look how long it took for Todd to get his son back.

Maybe we could get rid of everyone and start a new soap. We'll call it the lives of Todd and Blair. They are the best characters to me. Everyone else including the children can just go away.

Yeah, I will admit that this whole thing with Antonio and Talia is just stupid, there so boring!!!

If we look at the comments made this week, they have been very few. I guess it is getting boring repeating what we feel because writers keep doing what they feel.

I cannot stand John and his mightier than thou attitude. Who the hell does he think he is? I realize that Marcie snapped, but she should be punished for what she did. At some point, she knew exactly what she was doing.

I guess you are never too old to act so childish when you find your birth parents. Rex has thought for the longest that Walter was his father, now the Charlie is pretending to be his father, he is acting like a little kid. Again I thought Rex knew Charlie was pretending.

OK. The whole thing with Charlie's son is getting a bit aggravating. We know who his son is (or do we?), but anyways. Ramsey needs to get lost, and Rex needs to solve his, in my opinion, more interesting, paternal issues.

Dorian is meddling a bit too much with Viki and Charlie. Yeah, he's been keeping secrets from her, but that is none of Dorian's business.

My heart goes out to Todd a little bit because he's finally trying to do the right thing. Maybe it's because he's seen more than enough of Statesville and doesn't want to go back, but as long as he's going easy on Marcie, who cares?
