Cristian Saves Sarah - Hunter Dies!

    Wednesday, August 08 2007
Hunter is stabbed, Todd grieves for his dead son, and John demands answers from Michael & Rex regarding Tommy...

Outside of Evangeline’s room, Vincent stops Todd, and says he can’t see her. As Vincent says Todd needs permission, Layla comes out and stands behind his words. After Layla goes back inside with Evangeline, Todd tries to bribe Vincent into helping him get in! However, Vincent refuses Todd’s money but listens as Todd describes his experience being in a coma – and how he could hear those talking to him, those who cared. When Todd leaves, Layla comes back out into the hallway to hear that Todd is finally gone. After Layla tells Vincent how much his support has meant, she suggests he take her home to make love!

Seeing them leave, Todd goes back to Evangeline’s room. While picking up the money Vincent threw on the floor, Todd knocks into a nurse who says, “What’re you doing here?” After Todd claims to be there visiting his grandmother, he hands the nurse a few bills then enters Evangeline’s room and says, “Evangeline, it’s me, Todd.”

Holding her hand, Todd tells Evangeline he wishes there would’ve been something he could’ve done to help her. Over talk of all the times she's been there for him, Todd says, “I’m going to need your strength now… My son is really dead.” Out loud, Todd repeats what he knows Evangeline would say then vows to find out who took his son away from him – and make them pay!

Back at her apartment, Vincent kisses Layla’s hand, her mouth, then Layla says, “Come to bed with me.” Inside her room, Vincent and Layla give in to Passion!

Inside the carriage house, Miles thanks Natalie as she shows him around then says, “I won’t be staying here long… John McBain plans to send me to prison for the rest of my life.” After Miles questions whether Natalie is helping him to get back at John, she states the same case she did to Viki until Miles apologizes with understanding. Over talk of Marty and everything going on in Miles’s life, Natalie promises to be there for him.

After Cris scuffles with Hunter at Capricorn, Hunter is stabbed and falls to the ground! At Cris’s insistence, Sarah calls 911 – but it’s too late… Hunter is already dead! Cris calls the police and says, “I need a cop at Capricorn. I just killed a man.” When the police arrive, although Cris tells Sarah that she’s going to be okay, Sarah asks, “Are you?” After Cris assures her he’ll be fine, Sarah thanks him for saving her life.

When John barges into Rex’s loft, he says, “I know who Tommy really is… He’s Todd Manning’s son.” Although Michael and Rex deny it, John says, “Now that I know, I understand why you did what you did.” As John again says, “But Tommy is Todd’s son,” Michael warns, “If he means anything to you, this will never come up again and you’ll take it to your grave!” With a tear streaming down John’s face, he replies, “I can’t do that and you know it.” Now that everything is out in the open, although John tries to explain why they can’t keep this secret – that sooner or later someone else will find out the truth - Michael doesn’t see it and says, “It’s always the same thing with you, John, the law comes first. He’s your nephew.” With talk of Todd and his rights, John asks, “What do you want me to do? Just keep my mouth shut?” And Michael replies, “Yes.” In the end, for so many reasons, John says, “You have to give Tommy up.” Just then, John gets a call and has to head to Capricorn. With one last plea, Michael begs John to keep the secret then says, “This will kill my wife – and might kill me. If you love me at all, let me live my life with my child and my wife. Can you do that for me?” John replies, “I don’t know, Mike,” then leaves… In tears, Michael tells Rex that if he didn’t get through to John then he just lost his whole life. Again, Rex suggests that Michael take Marcie and Tommy for a trip out of town – and never come back!

John arrives at Capricorn to make sure Cris is okay then says, “Go home, we’ll talk about this later… just one thing, when you and this guy were fighting, did he mention Miles Laurence?” After Cris says no, John admits to an officer that although Hunter was the man who held Todd Manning, he says, “Now we need to nail the man behind it.” Later, alone at Capricorn, John gets a call from Michael asking what he’s going to do about their secret, and John replies, “I don’t know… I don’t know about anything right now.” John pours himself a shot then empties the brown liquor into his mouth.

When Cris and Sarah arrive back at his apartment, Sarah begs for Cris not to leave her alone… Cris holds her close.

glad to see this hunter out of the picture. I think that chris and sarah should hook up. they are really cute together.

This thing with Spencer Truman/Todd/Tommy has been dragging on for entirely too long. End it already and if John keeps his mouth shut, I'm not watching OLTL anymore. Too many people deciding what a person should and shouldn't know. Michael is a jerk and if Evangeline susposedly left OLTL, why are they still acting like she's in a coma? Maybe her contract is still in negotiations? Does anyone know?

Brother or no brother, John needs to do the right thing and send Tommy back to his real dad, Todd cuz he deserves him. Michael and Rex should start considering doing the right thing, cuz Todd will find out sooner or later. And they are going to pay cuz they kept this from Todd and making him think that his son died. I agree with the first person who said that Chris and Sarah should really hook up now that Hunter is out of the picture.

    Hi shawnie,

No, back in April, Renee (Evangeline) and ABC couldn't come to an agreement, so she left the show. As of yet, I haven't heard any word of her return or a recast. If I do, I'll post about it in the News Room and on the Comings & Goings page

I wish Natalie, Adriana and Rex and Miles would leave Llanview. Never like Natalie, cause she thinks she is a know it all and she sticks her nose in stuff that ain't her business. I use to like Rex, until he and Micheal decided to steal Todd's son away from him. Micheal thinks Todd is a bad father, I think Todd is great with his kids, they both love him and he loves them even more, Micheal should take a look at himself he is already lying to that baby. I wont feel a bit sorry for Micheal when Todd finds out. I will feel for Marcy, Marcy probably would of had done the right thing at the beginning if she had known the truth. Rex should go to jail for his part, after all he is the one that started all this with Tommy, maybe Micheal would of not had become so obsess with Tommy.

I read somewhere that Renee (Evangeline) was pregnant. The powers that be may be holding out till she has the baby "if" she is pregnant. Nora was in a coma forever.

naw, chris and sarah shouldn't get together- it would be too weird as Chris had been involved with first Jessica and then married to Natalie. if he got together with Sarah (Jessica and Natalie's niece) it would almost be incestous!

lets hope they recast Evangeline's part and Todd gets involved with her- how many strikes do he and Blair get before they are out! make peace for the sake of the kids and, also for the sake of the kids, stay apart!

yep, John will 'fess up and Marcie and Mike will be heartbroken, but maybe Todd will let them keep Tommy? wouldn't that be nice- after all Mike and Marcie are the only parents he has known and they have bonded together as a family. too much to hope for? a girl can dream can't she?

yippee! Tate is out of the picture! can he take Miles with him PLEASE!! the guy is a creep of the first order and he must go NOW!

Todd should get his son back. No one has the right to play God. I don't think Todd will be so generous as to give his son to Michael and Marcie especially when he finds out what Michael, Rex, and Princess Adriana have done. He may not be the perfect parent, however, his children adore him. That says something.

John I hope you come clean. I hope you don't get involved like the others who are playing God. I am depending on John to blow this whole secret out of the water.

I really don't think Miles is such a bad person. He just fell in love with an idiot. He allowed his perception of love get the best of him. By punishing Todd, I believe, he thought he was getting revenge for what he did to Marty. After all the only person he looked up to was Spencer. He used bad judgment. Let's face it folks, Miles is going to be around for another four years. Natalie is nosy, but I do believe in her own dumb way, she is trying to help Miles. She knows how it feels when people judge you without really knowing you.

Thank God, no Jessica, Nash, or Marty today. How I dislike these characters.

I want to know who died and left Vincent Evangeline's body guard. How dare he try to tell Todd what to do. He has obviously forgotten the person he was when he first arrived in Llanview. Layla makes me sick. She is like Marty. She cannot mustard up tears when the scenes calls for it.

Writers should just recast Evangeline. This whole coma storyline can be very dull.

When Todd was throwing his money around was very funny. Poor Todd, he still thinks his money will buy him what he wants.

Hunter dead. YES! Now, if writers got rid of Sarah, it would make this whole storyline right. Sarah is too young for Cris. She should go after Rex and give Princess Adriana a run for her money.

I've been watching OLTL for a long long time, and I just have to say- it's been better. I guess I'm old school. Sometimes I go months w/o watching. (I had to get that out of my system, sorry)
NOW, I have a question. I think I was watching the other day, and Clint referred to Sarah as his granddaugher...did I hear that correctly? Tina is Vicky's sister ( I MISS Tina!!), but isn't Cord Asa's son? How would that make Sarah Clint's granddaugher??

Posted by sharonski at Thursday, August 09 2007 08:41 AM

Cord is Clint's son born when Clint was a teenager.

Yes, Todd should get his son and as an infant he can adjust to a new home, but he has bonded to Mike and Marcie and, overall, he would be better off there.
