I'M SURE VICTOR HAD A WORSE CHILDHOOD THAN TODD WHO USED HIS FOR EVERYTHING HE DID ,AT LEAST HE HAD BARBARA HIS ADOPTED MOTHER WHO LOVED HIM TILL HE WAS 9 .VICTOR HAD IRENE ,WHO BRAINWASHED TODD TO KILL HIM.

"I'M SURE VICTOR HAD A WORSE CHILDHOOD THAN TODD" Are you serious???!!?? You were one of the ones using the sexual abuse that he suffered as an excuse for all the things that "Todd" did before we knew he was actually Victor Jr., who hadn't been sexually abused. Are you really saying that being in Irene's care was worse than a child being raped repeatedly? Come on now. I know you love, love, love, love, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE TSJ's Todd/Victor Jr., but really, that's just over the edge.

And come to think of it, when it was TSJ as Todd, I remember you being one of the posters who were citing his horrible childhood was a valid excuse for every rotten thing he did - especially because of the sex abuse. But now that none of that actually happened to Victor Jr., but it did happen to RH's Todd, suddenly that's no excuse for anything anymore? Now that RH is actually Todd, he had a "loving mother" until he was 9 ... and, after that???

at least he had someone who loved him for 9 years ,irene was not capable of that for victor or tina ,the latter at least had viki, this s/l most have been coming for quit sometime ,b/c victor mentioned more than once his mother never loved him when they thought tea was dieing ,but todd always knew bitsy loved him even tho she abandoned him b/c of peter,so some of his memories must have been on victors subconscience .the things he said about his mother did not make sense if he was todd ,but being victor it does,

I loved the last episode-everyone was happy! But when Allison was reading to someone in the bed, I did not have a clue who it was-OMG! So, some of the story line is moving to General Hospital? So I guess this is my new soap fav.

Thanks Ringleader; Any logical or rational argument on the Todd/RH vs Victor/TSJ characters is wasted here, though. I'm an attorney too and got hooked on OLTL on my first legal job at Legal Aid in Missouri, where I had a 1 pm lunch(CST). Have watched it ever since. I like TSJ and Todd AND I like RH and Todd, but prefer RH, as I watched him create and develop the character of Todd the rapist with (somewhat) a conscience...
Having a crush on the actor TSJ is all well and good, but it shouldn't color the analysis of his Todd portrayal as WAY more of a sociopath with no conscience or love for anyone but his family.
I think the fact that RH as Todd in his flashbacks has his hair slicked back in a different style, and he had in reality, just come in from the pouring rain with a shag haircut, which would never have looked as slick as it does in the flashback, proves it is a planted memory. JMO I guess we will find out on GH, which I have never watched, but will now. Hope the posters on both this and GH will fill us newbies in on all the relevant history and twists of the GH characters!

geechee0331 - yes, I recognize the futility of my arguments with the TSJ/Victor super-fans, but sometimes I just can't help myself. Some of the things that get posted are just so over the top that I have respond. I suppose I should just refuse to engage, but the lawyer in me can't resist trying to make my case. I don't ever do it with the hope of converting people to my side really - I know that's impossible. I would be happy to have an acknowledgement that there are other ways to look at it, but even that is probably optimistic to the point of delusion! LOL

I will be on the GH board. I'm going to try to give the show another chance. I'm just so sick of the "all things mob related are great" focus of the show. In recent years, they should have changed the name of the show to General Mob-spital (emphasis on "spital" IMO) the way they focused almost solely on glorifying the mob bosses, professional killers, while portraying the cops and prosecutors as the "bad guys." While I'm not in traditional law practice (I work in regulatory compliance), I could only stomach that attitude for so long.

I watched all ABC soaps, especially GH, since that was the one that I was always out of school early enough to see growing up. My mom was a stay at home mom until I was in high school, and she watched all the ABC soaps. I had brief flirtations with Days Of Our Lives in college (it seemed everyone watched it) and As The World Turns and Guiding Light in high school (oddly, my Grandfather watched them - he used to watch them with my Grandmother and kept watching after she passed away, so I would watch with him when he came to visit us or when we went to visit him). In fact, last year when they announced that AMC and OLTL were being cancelled, I was actually visiting her and my Dad down in Florida. There's about a 10 second delay from the TV in the family room to the TV in her bedroom, so I heard it first and then cringed while I waited for her reaction. I remember hearing a very distressed, "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" from her room and I felt so bad. But I was glad that I was there with her, since my dad would not have been very supportive.

So, I'm giving GH another chance (again) and I'll do my best to fill in any posters who follow the OLTL characters over there with background where I can. Hope to see many of you over there.

PS - I taped The View tribute show for OLTL and just watched it. I have to say that I LOVED Robin Strasser's (Dorian) response when they asked her about Dorian's affair with one of Vicky's sons. "It was Nathan Fillion. I rest my case. And I'd do it again in a minute ... for free!" Amen to that sister, amen to that! LOL

ood afternoon everyone and a big welcome back to Ringleader, who I always enjoy reading your comments. Also great seeing ones we haven't seen in awhile. Enjoy reading your comments.
It seems most everyone was happy with the ending on Fridays show. So much better then AMC's last show.
Remember this site will still be up so please come back and tell us what you think when we see the actors go over to GH in Feb.
At the GH board they are looking forward to these actors coming to GH as the show is pretty much dragging along and needs new storylines.

thank you ringleader for your beautifully written and thought provoking post. jorie also thought that Jack starting a fire at the sun was. mistake and that his justification for it was he thought Todd killed Victor Jr.
