Todd tries to get Tomas to confess, Matthew asks about Destiny's distance, and Marty tries to escape with Liam...
In the facility, Agent Baker tells the man in the chair if he has something to say now would be the time. He's given a shot in the neck and grabs the agent's arm as he turns to leave.
Todd arrives at the jail and says, "Say goodbye, Tomas, because I'm going to kill you." Tomas urges Todd to bring it on. Todd's happy Tea dropped his case. Tomas wonders how Todd thinks Tea will react once she sees through him. "Too bad your aim wasn't better," Todd probes. "Yeah, too bad," Tomas replies. Todd takes that as a confession. Tomas will confess that he was there during the shooting but warns he'll also tell the cops, Tea and Todd's family everything he knows about him. Todd reminds Tomas if he talks, he goes down too. Tomas knows it's true and proposes an alternate solution. Tomas can't promise 'this' is over and says, "It's bigger than you and I." Todd agrees to his plan and leaves. Tomas gets word his arraignment is booked for tomorrow. Does he need his lawyer? Tomas is sure he won't.
Matthew stops Destiny in Angels Square. Why has she been avoiding him since they were last together? Destiny tries to walk away and runs straight into Marty. As Matthew asks about the baby Marty's holding, Destiny picks up the gun that's fallen from Marty's purse. Marty grabs the gun and aims at the kids. Matthew steps in front of Destiny. When Brody calls out Marty's name, Marty takes off. Brody appears, full of blood, and manages to call 911.
Dani meets Tea outside of Todd's hospital room and rants about Nate losing his baseball game. He didn't really want any company afterwards. Dani goes in to check on Todd and finds the room empty. She worries someone took him. Shaun appears. Everyone realizes Todd tricked Shaun into letting him leave. While Shaun takes off to look for Todd, Tea leaves him a message. If he cares about their marriage, he better return ASAP. Talk turns back to Nate. Tea listens as Dani talks about Deanna living with him. Tea's sure Dani has nothing to worry about.
In Natalie's hospital room, John asks if Marty pushed her. Natalie doesn't remember anything, due to short-term memory loss. John tries to rattle her memories. Natalie is stunned to hear she brought Liam to the roof. John's sure Brody must have Liam by now. Natalie remembers being with Brody but doesn't tell John about their kiss. John agrees to check in with Brody in regards to Liam.
John runs into Brody, Destiny and Matthew in the hallway. They explain how Marty was out of her mind crazy. She took off with Brody's gun and Liam. John suggests they keep the news about Liam from Natalie for now and says to Brody, "Whatever you decide I'll back you up." Alone, Destiny rants at Matthew for stepping in front of the gun. He was only trying to protect her. He asks about her avoidance and reminds her they had sex. "You did what?" Shaun asks from behind them. Destiny claims Matthew and his girlfriend had sex, which deters Shaun, who leaves. Matthew makes it clear how much their time together meant to him.
Brody goes in to see Natalie and lies. He claims Liam's home, asleep. He leaves and begs John to help him find Liam. "Let's bring him home," John replies.
Todd returns to his hospital room and claims he went to the crime scene at Rodi's. He remembered something and says, "Tomas didn't shoot me."
Marty checks into the Minute Man Motel as Mrs. McBain. She talks to Liam about killing Natalie and now having a beautiful baby boy. Marty hopes one day soon she'll have John back. They need to give John time to grieve Natalie. Marty plans to return near Christmas and claim to have found Liam in the snow. John will be grateful to Marty. With Natalie dead, no one can tell John that she switched Liam's paternity test. She thinks of Dr. Buhari and can't find her session tape, which was left under a bench on the roof.
Nate arrives home. He lost his baseball game. Deanna warns that some loses are worse than others. Deanna thanks Nate for giving her a roof over her head. Nate welcomes her for as long as she needs. Deanna alerts Nate to his sweatiness. They laugh and share some ice cream in an attempt to ignore the broken air conditioner. Deanna suggests a way to beat the heat. Later, Dani arrives and finds them having a squirt gun fight.
