One Life to Live's Mellini Kantayya in Colin Hearts Kay Video Promo!

    Thursday, June 03 2010

Mellini Kantayya (right, Colin Hearts Kay)
Coming to a film festival near you!

Since 2005 actress Mellini Kantayya has appeared on One Life to Live as a Llanview Hospital nurse over nineteen times and in storylines such as Bo Buchanan's (Robert S. Woods) emergency surgery and even had Todd Manning (Trevor St. John) try to pay her off with a bribe! Mellini's new project, appearing as Pooja in "Colin Hearts Kay," will be playing at film festivals all over the country this summer and is described as a "wacky live action/animated romantic comedy about Brooklyn Bloggers."

“My character actually isn’t that different than the no-nonsense Nurse I play on OLTL, and equally fun to play,” Mellini teased.

The film will premiere on Friday June 11 at the Brooklyn International Film Festival at 180 South 4th Street, Suite 2 S in Brooklyn, New York and make its way to the San Francisco United Film Festival on Monday June 14. More dates will be announced so be sure to look for it at a festival near you!

Soaps.com wishes Mellini all the best with her new project and we look forward to seeing her in Llanview again soon! For other news on what the actors are doing off-screen please take a look through our One Life to Live News Room.
