Soaps.com: Congratulations on your Daytime Emmy nomination! Where were you when you heard the news and who let you know you were nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress?
Bree: Thanks so much! I was actually in traffic when my husband called me to say that I had been nominated.
Soaps.com: Is there a reason why you didn't submit for Outstanding Lead Actress, as your storylines last year surely put you in the front burner scenes and warranted a nomination in that category?
Bree: I didn’t have anything to do with it. It was the show's decision.
Soaps.com: Your scenes are always filled with so much emotion, and you've brought me to tears many times over the years. Fans are still reeling over Nash's (Forbes March) death… Can you give us a look into what it was like on the set on the day you filmed his passing? Most of us still can't bear to watch the video, as the scene was that good!
Bree: It was very sad and felt like a death in the family… The whole shoot was very sad. That's the only way to explain it.
Soaps.com: Not only did you keep me on my toes when I had write the daily recaps for Soaps.com during your Jess/Tess/Bess scenes, you nailed each and every personality and made them so different from the other! What is it like playing three different characters who are so in-depth and plot driven - and who is your favorite to play? How do you find it switching from one to the other or are they done on different dates?
Bree: Tess is my favorite, but Bess is interesting too. I shot all three personalities in the same shoot. It's all about posture and the lines, which made it easy… One minute, I'm Jessica, in Jessica's clothes, with her personality, then in the next, I swapped into Tess's clothes then Bess's. I just had to read the lines and knew which character I was acting on. It was very exhausting some days, but very challenging. I hope we can do it again… The writers did a great job with it!

Bree: Mark is so great to work with! He's really fun and a very giving actor. The relationships between Jessica with Nash and Brody are different because… With Nash, he was with Tess first, and Jessica was married to Antonio and dealing with her evolving feelings for Nash, that was the old Jessica. With Brody, it's crazy at times, since they were in St. Ann's together fighting insanity. This is a different Jessica right now. She lost her husband, a child…
Soaps.com: What can we expect from Jessica in the future, and if you had your choice, what type of storyline would you have her involved in next?
Bree: Jessica will be having some great upcoming scenes with Brody. I'd also like to do something with John Brotherton (Jared Banks). He's so fun to be around!
Soaps.com will be looking forward to the upcoming scenes that Bree spoke of, and if you want to know a little more about them, please tune into the Spoilers Page.
