    Actor updates from June 5 - 11:

    Soaps.com has the latest details surrounding what's going on in the careers of the current and former "One Life To Live" actors. This week includes a way to watch a film locally, a new Hallmark original series, Primetime and film roles, "OLTL" production hiatus details, a Tony win and more...

    One Life To Live on hiatus:
    As of right now OLTL's production is on hiatus. Don't worry fans, episodes will still air every Tuesday and Thursday, as the show has taped months in advance. Soaps.com will continue to post recaps those mornings.

    Barbara Niven to Cedar Cove:
    Barbara Niven, who played Liz Reynolds from 2002 to 2003, has been cast as Peggy Beldon in the new Hallmark Channel series "Cedar Cove." Andie MacDowell ("Jane By Design") stars as Judge Olivia Lockhart, whose courtroom is consumed with issues surrounding family and friends. The project is based off of Debbie Macomber's best-selling series of the same name.     Robert Leeshock in Surrender:
    Robert Leeshock (ex-Bruce Bartlett) will be appearing in the new Danny Roger's project "Surrender" as Clay. The 2014 film follows what happens when a hostage situation takes place in a church and stars Steven Sutherland ("Ashes Of Eden") as Austin.

    Trevor St. John's In The Family at local libraries:
    If you haven't caught a screening of Trevor St. John's (Victor Lord) film "In The Family" and don't think you'll be able to buy the DVD on June 25 we have another solution for you in order to watch. Over 500 libraries have already ordered the DVD to carry in various towns, so on or after the release you may be able to borrow it at a library near you.

    A Martinez's In Embryo:
    A Martinez (ex-Ray Montez) will appear in Ulrich Thomsen's feature film "In Embryo" as Cesare Petrillo. Shot in Los Angeles, the love story about fear, hope and new beginnings surrounds a second-generation drug dealer, who's been accustomed to easy women, until he meets a beautiful girl he believes to be his soul mate. However, what was supposed to be a new life for the couple quickly turns into a deadly journey consumed by fear, trauma and violence.

    Danneel Harris Ackles gives birth:
    Danneel Harris Ackles (ex-Shannon McBain) recently gave birth to her and husband Jensen Ackles' (ex-Eric, "DOOL") first child. Find out what the happy couple had through Jensen Ackles' Baby News.

    Judith Light wins Tony Award:
    On Sunday June 9 Judith Light (ex-Karen Wolak) took home the Tony award for Best Performance by an actress in a featured role in a play for her work on "The Assembled Parties." This is Light's second consecutive win, having won in the same category last year for "Other Desert Cities." Watch her acceptance speech below.



    Nathan Fillion's Sea Of Monsters Trailer:
    On August 7 Nathan Fillion's (ex-Joey Buchanan) new film "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters" will hit theaters. Watch the official trailer of the actor playing Hermes, as many set out to stop an ancient evil from rising.



    One Life To Live actor fun fact:
    Patricia Mauceri, who played Carlotta Vega from 2006 to 2009, was one of many actresses who auditioned for the role of Erica Kane on "All My Children." However, as the story goes down in soap history, Susan Lucci stood out among them all and played Erica from January 10, 1970 to September 23, 2011.
