Jerry VerDorn signs on with Prospect Park: Clint Buchanan will be coming back with Llanview. Portrayer Jerry VerDorn posted on his official Facebook, "Hello Everybody. 'One Life' lives. And good things come to those who wait. Or so it is said. About an hour ago I agreed to be part of the 'OLTL' revival and I'm thrilled to be involved in entertainment history as the show we love moves to other formats. The fans consistent drum beat of support played a large part in Prospect Park never giving up trying to find a solution. And today they announced it to the world. With the cherry-on-the-top-news that Agnes Nixon has been hired as a consultant! For those who doubted, I don't blame you as this has never been done before. For those who never lost hope and never stopped writing and calling, well, good things come to those who wait. Congratulations to you all. Welcome back to Llanview."
Judith Light's Dallas airdate:
Judith Light, who played Karen Wolek from 1977 to 1983, will make a "Dallas" appearance during the series return to TNT on Monday January 28 at 9:00 PM. Look for her to play Harris Ryland's (Mitch Pileggi) mother in the recurring role. If you ever miss an episode Soaps.com will be posting Dallas Weekly Recaps after the show airs.
Matt Walton in The Sisterhood Of Night:
Matt Walton, Llanview villain Elijah Clarke, will be playing a reporter in a new project titled "The Sisterhood Of Night." The plot surrounds a New Jersey girl who uncovers a secret society right in her own suburb. Gary Wilmes ("The Good Wife") and Nikki Holister ("Men In Black 3") have also been cast.
Nafessa Williams in Dumb Girls:
Deanna Forbes portrayer, Nafessa Williams, will appear as a female co-ed in the upcoming film "Dumb Girls." Josh Kelly (ex-Cutter Wentworth) will also appear as Danny in the comedy about a girl who sets out to snag the guy she wants.
Casper Van Dien in 500 MH Storm:
Casper Van Dien, who played fan favorite Ty Moody back in the 1990s, has been cast to play Nathan Sims in the 2013 film "500 MH Storm." A high school science teacher rushes to get his family to safety after an energy experiment goes haywire, causing massive hurricanes to tear across North America.
Longtime Llanview fans will remember that Tom Berenger played Tim Seigel, who was married to Jenny Wolek at the time of his death, from 1975 to 1976. Berenger has had a successful career in Hollywood over the years and will appear in the upcoming drama "Reach Me" as Teddy. The project, which stars Sylvester Stallone ("Rocky"), will connect a group of people, a self-help book and a withdrawn ex football coach.
A Martinez in Curse Of Chucky:
Former Llanview recurring actor A Martinez (ex-Ray Montez, 2008 to 2009) will be playing a priest, Father Frank, in the October 2013 movie "Curse Of Chucky." Following up from the previous "Chucky" films the killer doll returns once again to terrorize many at a funeral. Martinez also appeared on "The Bold And The Beautiful" and "General Hospital" and had a longtime role on "Santa Barbara" (1984 to 1992) as Cruz Castillo.
Bree Williamson's full episode premiere of Deception:
If you missed Bree Williamson (ex-Jessica Brennan) during "Deception's" premiere on Monday January 7 watch the NBC pilot episode where the actress plays the scandalous socialite Vivian Bowers.
Ilene Kristen's Rise To The Occasion video:
Ilene Kristen, who played Roxanne Balsom, has shared one of her new songs with readers titled "Rise To The Occasion." Of the song, Kristen stated on her Facebook, "Happy 2013 to all my Facebook Friends. Here's another clip from Scott Yahney's studio in the wilds of Brooklyn. This one is 'Rise To The Occasion' that I wrote with the wonderful musician Terry Silverlight. CD release sometime in March I believe."
Ilene Kristen Mix & Mingle:

Nic Robuck, who played James Ford, not only recently released his first feature film, "Dark Desire," but its landed in Lifetime's top 10 films of 2012. Robuck tweeted his excitement and thanks to fans who voted for the film.
This time in One Life To Live history:
Back in the beginning of January 2007 Nash Brennan and Jessica Buchanan got caught in a snow storm. Though they tried to hike up to the cabin on Llantano Mountain, they couldn't find it and took refuge in an old coalmine. The two tried to start a fire, but before they could, the cave collapsed. It was then that Jessica finally admitted her fear of losing Nash.
