    Casper van Dien (WENN.com)
    Actor updates from October 17 - 23:

Soaps.com has the latest details surrounding what's going on in the careers of the former "One Life To Live" actors. This week includes a special award presented to a former Llanview actor, a comic con appearance, a few new movie roles and a Llanview book release...

Upcoming book release! Llanview In The Afternoon: An Oral History Of One Life To Live:
Jeff Giles, entertainment writer and editor, will release a book toward the summer 2013, taking a look back on the history of "One Life To Live." In a release Giles stated, "Soaps have been at the vanguard in a lot of ways, and now that so many of them are being canceled, I’m afraid they could be the canary in the coalmine for scripted entertainment. I don’t think Hollywood could support a medium that tells a 40+ year story anymore." Those currently being interview by the author include Erika Slezak (ex-Viki), Robin Strasser (ex-Dorian), Robert S. Woods (ex-Bo), Hillary B. Smith (ex-Nora), Ilene Kristen (ex-Roxy), Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair), Michael Storm (ex-Dr. Wolek), Judith Light (ex-Karen), Nathan Fillion (ex-Joey) and many more.
