    Sad news…

One of the five actresses to have played Llanview's Dorian Cramer has passed away. According to The Hollywood Reporter Claire Malis Callaway died on August 24 in Duarte, California's City of Hope Helford Clinical Research Hospital from congestive heart failure and pneumonia. In a battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, she had undergone a stem cell transplant in 2010.

After Callaway's "One Life To Live" role, which she held from 1977 to 1979, the actress went on to appear in such TV series as "The Incredible Hulk," "Taxi" and played Rose Polniaczek (Jo's mom) on the hit show "The Facts Of Life" from 1983 through 1988. In later years, Callaway turned up in Primetime numerous times including spots on "Will & Grace" and "CSI: Miami." sends Callaway's family and friends, including her husband Thomas, their son Catlin and her brother Lee, our deepest condolences.
