    Haunted by a terrible past.

Miles Laurence left Llanview for parts unknown in April 2008. Now, fans of the former "One Life To Live" actor will be able to catch David Chisum as Dr. Richards in the upcoming film "Birds In Paradise," written and directed by J. Jonroy Avani.

The film tells the story of a music student, haunted by the past, who escapes Iran and ends up in an estranged marriage with a Los Angeles stand-up comedian. However, the passion that ignites from her piano teacher's young lover could very well destroy everything. A 2014 release date is expected. Ryan Guzman ("Step Up Revolution") and Francia Raisa ("The Secret Life Of An American Teenager") star.

Chisum has appeared in numerous Primetime roles since his first acting gig on "Ned And Stacey" in 1995. Since leaving Daytime, the actor has turned up on "90210," "Desperate Housewives," "Criminal Minds," and most recently ABC's "Castle," which stars another "OLTL" alum Nathan Fillion (ex-Joey).
