    Tuesday, September 28 2010

Ross is brought into the station. John admits the body in Tahiti wasn't Eli's. He accuses Ross of helping his brother in exchange for Eli's help in Ross gaining custody of Dani. John vows to fix it so Ross never sees Dani again. Ross almost slips about Eli being alive. John urges him to tell the truth, for Dani's sake. Ross wonders if he tells the truth can John guarantee he won't go to prison? That Todd won't shut him out of Dani's life? Just as Ross is ready to open up, a cop appears to escort Ross to court."You can tell the judge what you were going to tell me," John states then follows Ross out.

Dani meets Blair in the courtroom and admits Todd wanted to runaway with her. Over talk of how strong Tea was, Dani claims she's nothing like her mother. She has no idea how she's going to get through this. Blair assures Dani that Tea wanted her to be raised with Todd. Court is called to order. John brings Ross in, who starts to confess. Todd barges in with Greg as his witness. John urges Todd to let Ross talk. The judge orders Dani to wait outside. Greg takes the stand and testifies that Tea wanted Ross to raise Dani!

    What's Wrong?

    Tuesday, September 21 2010

In court, Todd and Ross argue over who's Dani's father. Todd takes the stand. Dani listens from behind a chair as he says, "She's everything I want in the world. I don't know what I'd do without her." Ross has his turn, as does Blair. The judge asks why each should be Dani's father. "Because I am," Todd says. "I love her." Ross reminds everyone Dani should live with him because it's what Tea wanted. Blair recalls Tea asking her to be Dani's mother. She never even mentioned Ross. Destiny pulls Dani out of hiding and demands they all ask Dani where she wants to be. The judge allows Dani to take the stand and asks how she feels. "I feel alone. I miss my mom," Dani cries. "I'm supposed to choose one person. I don't want to hurt anyone." Dani loves Ross and says he took care of her all her life. She loves Todd and doesn't want to give up on the progress they've made. She can't choose. Dani wants them both. Nate arrives just as court is adjourned. Dani leaves with Nate. Ross warns Todd to get used to watching Dani walk away.

    Tea, Please Forgive Me.

    Monday, September 20 2010

Ross talks to Eli on the phone at Rodi's. Eli assures him he'll get Dani back. Ross says it's too bad Tea had to die in order for it to happen. He talks about how convenient the timing of her death was and reminds Eli this isn't the first time he's killed. Eli confesses how he was with Tea when she fainted in court. He brought her to the hospital then took advantage of the situation in order to help Ross. Suddenly, Natalie appears, takes Ross' phone and listens as Eli calls out, "Ross?" Natalie asks, "Who is this?" Eli hangs up. John appears. Ross grabs his phone and heads to court. Natalie admits she only heard one word. Ross. Though she barely talked to Eli once, she'd bet the farm that was him on the other line. John makes a call about the tap on Ross' phone. The call can't be traced. They wonder if Eli is somehow connected to helping Ross get custody of Dani.

Outside the courtroom, Blair and Todd talk about Tea and Dani. Todd can't face the fact that he's never going to see Tea again. Todd's cutthroat lawyer appears and explains it won't be easy to prove Tea wanted anything different than what's in her will. Todd insists that Tea's will is fake. His lawyer confirms that the signature is legit. He had it tested. When Ross arrives, Blair confronts him for trying to take Todd's daughter away. She blames Eli for using Tea to help Ross and screams, "I hate him!" as she pushes Ross! Todd has to pull Blair off. Ross walks away and Todd holds Blair close.

Later in the courtroom, a judge claims Tea's will appears legit. She grants custody of Dani to Ross. As Todd protests, Dani and Destiny sneak into the courtroom. Ross takes the stand and shows the judge Dani's birth certificate, which names him as Dani's father.

    Come Back To Me...

    Friday, September 17 2010

Eli calls Greg from Kitts Hospice. He wants a clean bill of health and says, "I'm bored to death of being dead." Greg reminds Eli of his prognosis and snaps, "I will get there when I get there!" Eli calls Ross next and assures him that Dani will be his soon. Eli hears Blair ranting in the background.

Starr signs the guestbook at Tea's memorial. Blair joins her and they talk about all the people who showed up. Across the room, Ross tells Nate he wants to get to know him. Todd appears and warns Nate that Ross is leaving town tonight. Alone. Over talk of Eli, Todd says, "If he wasn't dead, I'd kill him myself." Starr drags Todd away, as Langston comforts Blair in regards to Eli. Blair wants Langston to take her experience as a lesson when it comes to Ford. Langston assures Blair that she'll never let Ford hurt her again. Starr joins Dani. She doesn't want Dani to go to Tahiti but agrees to accept whatever will make her happy. After everyone leaves, Todd offers to pay Ross any amount to go away and never come back for Dani. Ross turns him down and walks away. Todd pulls a gun on Ross who asks, "What are you going to do, kill me?" That's exactly what Todd plans to do! Todd makes it clear that he can make Ross disappear without getting blood on his hands. Blair appears and demands that Todd not kill someone who Dani loves. Todd lets Ross leave then rants at Blair. "I made a promise to Tea that I'd take care of Dani," Blair seethes. "And I always keep my promises!"

Shaun approaches Greg at Rodi's. He notices Greg is still distraught over Tea's death and asks, "Is there something you want to tell me?" Shaun knows Greg's in trouble and says, "I can help you." Shaun grabs the papers in front of Greg and asks what he's doing with Tea's medical files. Greg warns Shaun to back off. For his own good and for Destiny's! Reluctantly, Shaun agrees to trust Greg and says, "If you need me, I'm there." Shaun leaves and Greg downs his drink. After Greg leaves, Ross arrives. He calls Eli who reassures him again.

Are You Sure It's Going To Be Okay?

    Thursday, September 16 2010

Ross tries to leave the Manning Estate with Dani. Todd pushes him against the wall and warns, "You're not leaving here with my daughter!" John pulls Todd off Ross then looks at Tea's will. John explains that Ross can't take Dani. Not until Tea's will is probated. As John leaves, he privately orders an officer to tail Ross. Dani screams for Blair, Todd and Ross to stop arguing. Dani can't leave with Ross, not now. Ross understands and agrees to accept Blair's invite to Tea's memorial. However, Ross makes it clear that Dani is to say her goodbyes to her friends and family. They'll be heading back to Tahiti after the memorial. Ross leaves, with a cop trailing after him. Dani heads to her room while Blair tells Todd they need to get the best lawyer they can find. "Okay," Blair backtracks. "The second best lawyer." Dani listens from the stairs as Todd vows, "I'm not going to lose my daughter."
