    An Unexpected Visitor Arrives...

    Monday, January 04 2010

In Kyle's room, as Fish and Kyle boast about finally getting to 'this point', Roxy barges in, makes a few jokes and announces that Fish's boss, Bo, was fired last night! "How much you want to bet Johnny McBain is going to take over his job?" Roxy asks, but Fish gets a call from John, saying he's needed - they're getting ready to move Mitch. After Fish leaves, Roxy and Kyle talk about their issues, with Roxy saying, "You're the gay son I never had," then ranting about Rex's father, which leads Kyle to ask, "How did you have a kid with someone who scares you so much?" Roxy gets upset and begs for Kyle to stop pushing her for answers, claiming if he really cares about her he'll never bring up what they did at the clinic - or Rex's father again!

Back at the station, as Rex is leaving Bo's office, Brody, John and Fish enter the station house with Mitch, as Jessica, Natalie, Bo, Rex and Nora look on. After Mitch taunts the crowd, and is about to be taken to a cell, Rex takes a call from Shane - and Dorian storms in, screaming for everyone to wait just one minute! Dorian instructs Bo to step down as commissioner, but when Bo refuses to leave his office, Dorian pulls out a bloody letter opener from the envelope she received, claiming Bo was involved in a cover-up - one that started with John McBain!

    Tuesday, December 29 2009

Across the hall, in Kyle's room, Fish wonders if Kyle is ready to go out, but Kyle looks at Nick, who's in bed, and says he can't leave him - because Nick's upset about his attackers' trial date having been moved up. Just as Fish wonders if Nick is playing the sympathy card on purpose, Roxy arrives and snaps at Nick's presence, saying to Kyle, "I told you I had an extra room for him!" Kyle claims she never called him, asks if she's drunk then offends Roxy into leaving - as Fish suggests that Nick took Roxy's call, and kept quiet, then says, "Because he wants to stay here with you." Kyle pulls Fish out into the hall, where they argue, leading Fish to rush off to Ultraviolet, telling Kyle if he changes his mind - he'll know where to find him!

Rex is at Ultraviolet, preparing for the New Year's Eve bash and tells an employee that Gigi won't be there - they are spending time apart. When Stacy arrives, a drink is spilled on her dress, but when Rex rushes over to see what the commotion is about, she claims the drink was cold - and landed on her stomach/baby. Wondering what she's doing there, Stacy claims, "I thought you'd want to spend New Year's with your baby." Rex brings up the paternity test, says he doesn't want to miss out on anything, like he did with Shane, then asks for the truth, "Is this really my baby?" Just then, Fish walks in, and Stacy briefly looks at him then lies, "Yes, it is. Rex, this is your baby."

Mitch brings up Stacy and Gigi and reminds Rex how Gigi has chosen a lowlife drug addict over him then says, "You're better off without her." Rex snaps and warns for Mitch to stay away from his family, or he'll show him just how much like him he really is! Fish comes in and orders Rex out, as Mitch hollers after Rex to bring the family next time.

The cop tells Fish to calm down and says, "There's no one in there," but Fish replies, "How do you know?" Fish rushes into the room, pulls Stacy away from Mitch's bed then demands that she leave - saying Mitch is dangerous! Stacy agrees, tells Mitch to stay away from her, and her baby, then allows Fish to lead her out of the room. Sitting in the hall, Fish admits he feels connected to Stacy, because of their night together, and even suggests that things could have turned out differently - and she could have been carrying his baby - but before Fish can warn her further about Mitch, Stacy rushes off, saying, "I've gotta go."
