When Shaun sees Rachel with Schuyler at The Palace, Destiny takes it upon herself to invite them to join them - and Shaun about crawls under the table when Destiny blurts out, "So, Mr. J., are you dating Rachel?" Destiny continues to work her scheme by spilling a drink on Schuyler then rushes him away from the table for some club soda to clean it up. Once alone, Shaun apologizes to Rachel, who knows that Destiny has gone through a lot to give them some alone time. Shaun is forced to admit that he likes Rachel, who thanks Shaun for the flowers and admits that she didn't think he was that into her. Shaun is happy to hear that Rachel isn't dating anyone else then listens as she talks about being a recovering addict, one who doesn't want to rush into anything too fast. Shaun assures her they'll take their 'dating' slow, which sounds good to Rachel.
By the bar, Destiny tries to clean Schuyler's stain and nonchalantly warns him that it wouldn't be cool for him to be scamming on Rachel - another guy's girl! Schuyler assures Destiny that Rachel is just a friend, who is taking him out to celebrate his first day on the job at the rehab center. Just then, Greg appears, and Destiny rushes into his arms, which alerts Shaun to his presence.
Still at The Palace, Schuyler calls Rex and demands to know when he plans to tell Gigi that he slept with her sister!
I Now Pronounce You...
Schuyler shows up at the rehab center and hands Rachel the flowers he signed for her - from Shaun. Over talk of Shaun, Rachel admits she has fun with him then brings up Shaun's arrogant brother, leaving Schuyler to think of how different Gigi and Stacy are. After Schuyler explains his situation, and how Stacy thinks he has a thing for Gigi, Rachel asks, "Do you?" Schuyler doesn't admit his feelings but wonders if Rex is doing Gigi wrong by not admitting that he slept with Stacy - and knows that Stacy is bound to spill the beans and hurt Gigi with news soon! With that said, Schuyler admits that there will always be a small part of him that loves Stacy then the two head out to have lunch.
After Greg leaves, Shaun drills Destiny about Greg's reference to Matthew as being her boyfriend, but Destiny turns the tables on him and asks what's going on with Rachel. Shaun admits he likes Rachel and says if Matthew doesn't notice Destiny then he's a fool. Just then, Destiny points out that Rachel is on the patio, and just as Shaun decides to go ask Rachel how she feels about him, they see that she's with another guy - Schuyler!
Llanview's Next Cop In Training?
Schuyler stops by the carriage house to check on Gigi and is clearly bothered to see that Gigi isn't upset about what happened between Stacy and Rex. However, after Schuyler realizes that Gigi doesn't know about Rex and Stacy having sex, he asks, "Did Rex absolutely deny sleeping with Stacy?"
As Schuyler starts to tell Gigi about Rex and Stacy, Rex appears and says, "Hey, what about Rex and Stacy?" Gigi rushes into Rex's arms and explains to Rex that Schuyler was checking up on her but thought that Rex had been 'with' Stacy. Rex thanks Schuyler for being there for Gigi, and Schuyler can't bear to hurt Gigi by telling her the truth. After Schuyler leaves, Rex says, "One more minute with Stacy and I'm afraid of what I'll do to her." Rex explains that Stacy gave him an idea of how they can find the missing blood.
A Plan For Cole's Future!
At Rodi's, while Schuyler thinks back to Stacy's claim that he's falling for Gigi, Gigi arrives, fills him in on what happened then falls into his arms. Though Schuyler almost slips about Stacy and Rex sleeping together, he comforts Gigi as she goes over all of the events leading up to losing Rex - for real.
Later, at Rodi's, Cole is touched that Starr would really leave her family to be with him and Hope and even suggests they do it - now. However, Starr reminds him that they have to do everything right this time around. Suddenly, Schuyler appears, and Starr introduces him to their baby. When Starr informs him that she and Cole are getting married, tomorrow, Schuyler congratulates them both - and Cole even accepts his handshake!
The Truth Is Finally Out!
Across the room, Schuyler snaps at Stacy and warns her not to put Gigi through anymore heartache, leaving Stacy to say, "Don't tell me you're falling for my sister!" After he denies it, Schuyler thinks Stacy wants to tell Gigi, to get Gigi mad at Rex, because she knows that Rex still wants Gigi! As Schuyler slips and says that the truth is about to come out, he tries to cover, to give Gigi more time, but Stacy puts two and two together then leaves. Schuyler thinks back to Stacy's claim that he's fallen for Gigi and sighs.
