Back at the carriage house, Gigi frantically calls Brody. Shane's missing. When Shane arrives, he refuses to tell Gigi where he was and screams about her giving him crappy advice.

Brody goes to Llanfair and briefly tells Natalie about his run-in with John. They both look at Liam and agree to concentrate on their son.

Todd's Been Shot.

Natalie and Brody talk to a doctor at Llanview Hospital. They're relieved that Liam had a simple rash. She thanks Brody for being there. He wanted to be but knows Natalie wishes John was by her side. Natalie realizes that Brody may be the only father Liam has now. Brody gets a call from Gigi and relays to Natalie that shots were fired at Todd and John. Todd's rushed in alone. Brody holds Natalie and assures her John's fine. John appears and sees them. Natalie and Brody pull apart. John explains the gunfire. Todd's lost a lot of blood. Natalie worries John could've been shot. John notices Liam. Natalie assures John the baby's fine. Brody's called to the crime scene. "I still love you," Natalie admits to John. She'll always care what happens to him.

Back at the crime scene, John stops Brody from explaining why he was hugging Natalie. They examine the scene and find evidence that one of John's bullets hit the shooter.

You're Even Hotter When You're Wet.

Natalie rants to Brody at Llanfair about John firing Gigi and screwing around with Kelly. She thinks John might want a relationship with Kelly. Brody assures Natalie that John's just reacting. He loves her. Brody warns they can't give up on John and Jessica. They'll get them back. Brody admits their mistakes but assures Natalie Liam isn't one of them. Natalie goes to check on the baby, reappears and screams, "Brody, something's wrong with him!"

I Thought You'd Never Buy A Clue.

Tess taunts Natalie about her return at Foxy Roxy's and says, "I thought you'd never buy a clue." Tess grabs Ryder. Natalie stands before her and warns, "You're not leaving here with the baby." Liam begins crying. Tess makes her think Liam is choking then makes a quick getaway with Ryder. Brody appears soon after and thinks Tess went to Ford's. Natalie's stunned to hear they're married. Brody insists Natalie stay there while he goes to Ford's.

James wraps up a call with Starr as he arrives home. He finds Ford inside and hears about his new wife. James realizes that Ford's doing this for his son but asks, "What about Langston?" Ford admits Langston's not onboard. He refuses to leave another kid behind, like he did James. Just as Ford's about to explain how he plans to handle Tess, she returns. Tess hands Ryder to Ford then seductively asks James, "Who are you?" When she hears James is Ford's brother, Tess regrets not waking up with 'the hot one' on her rather than Ford. Tess grabs some booze and heads to take a bath. She quickly returns in Ford's shirt and answers the door to Brody. Tess refuses to turn over her and Ford's baby. James takes Ryder, as Ford assures Brody the baby is staying with them. Tess urges Brody to go take care of his own kid. Brody refuses to give up on Jessica. Tess slams the door in his face. "Are you sure you don't want to come scrub my back?" Tess asks James then slips into the bathroom. James is blown away by Tess. He tries to help Ford with Ryder and says, "We need instructions."

Brody returns to Foxy Roxy's. John arrives and stares at Brody, Natalie and Ryder through the window.

I'm Sorry, Did You Say Something?

Brody finds Viki at Llanfair leaving Natalie a frantic message about Jessica. He reports that Tess is at Ford's apartment. Brody wants to help Jessica, but Viki warns the law isn't on their side. Brody refuses to let Tess or Ford degrade Jessica again. Viki plans to enlist Ford's help. She insists Brody stay there and wait for his son. Right now, he needs to protect both babies.

Roxy arrives at Llanfair to warn Brody. Jessica's at the salon with Natalie, and she wasn't very happy to see her.
