At the carriage house, Gigi and Shane tell Rex about the latest incident with Jack. Behind Gigi's back, Rex approves of what Shane did. He hopes Jack will think twice about messing with Shane again. Shane assures Gigi he can handle Jack then heads upstairs. "No MyFace," Gigi orders then privately tells Rex she doesn't think Jack is done harassing their son. Gigi wants Shane to defend himself without turning into a bully too. Talk turns to Clint. Rex shares how he told Clint he hated him, before he coded, and how Matthew is being kept alive by machines. Rex is glad to have Gigi and Shane and vows never to take advantage of them. He doesn't want to wait any longer to marry Gigi.

At the gym, Cris gives Shane instructions for his workout and talks about how tough it was growing up in Angels Square as a young artist. Cris spots Rama and goes to her. She cries and admits she couldn't tell Vimal the truth. Cris thinks Vimal will understand that Rama lied with only the best intentions. Just as Cris calls Rama beautiful, he hears some commotion. Across the room, Jack and Brad taunt Shane about how he almost killed himself. Shane purposely drops a weight on Jack's foot. Jack cries and claims Shane broke his foot. Cris calls Blair. Brad laughs as Shane teases, "Manning, crying like a little girl." Blair and Gigi appear and hear what happened. Gigi thinks Jack went there to deliberately taunt Shane. After Gigi and Shane leave, Blair tells Jack to suck it up. She knows Gigi was right about him being there to harass Shane. Later, Rama rejoins Cris and thanks him for the advice with a kiss.
Back at the diner, Gigi gives Shane Jack's cake but warns there are other ways, aside from violence, to deal with his problems. While Gigi gets news from Roxy about Liam's return, Shane responds to a threatening text from Jack with, "Bring it!" Back at the counter, Roxy takes out the recorder.
Rex rants about Clint at the diner. Gigi wonders what made Clint suddenly confess. Talk turns to Natalie then Shane appears. They discuss Shane's new doctor, who wants him to return to Llanview High in September. Shane assures Rex he'll be fine to return in the fall. After Rex leaves to visit Natalie, Shane opens up to Gigi and says, "When September comes around I'm still going to be a loser." At a nearby table, Ford looks at a photo of Tess and Ryder. He overhears Shane and joins him after Gigi heads to the kitchen. Ford shows Shane an old photo of him as a kid and talks about how other kids used to treat him. He didn't want his son to be bullied again and says, "I think I got my point across." They call Shane in. Gigi and Rex confess what they did. Shane hands them his laptop. More bullying messages have been posted. He never wants to go back to school again. Dr. Buhari urges Shane to stay off of MyFace and to continue to give therapy his all.

Brody finds Rex talking to Shane out in the hall. Jack filed a complaint. Brody doesn't think Rex's capable of hiring thugs to rough up a kid, but he needs to question him all the same. Shane thinks Jack deserved it and explains to Brody what's been going on. Brody apologizes for what Shane's gone through and wonders how he's doing now. Shane's doing better. When he leaves Rex and Brody alone, Brody admits he doesn't know how he'd react if something like this happened to Liam and assures Rex if Jack pursues these charges, Brody will force him to come clean about what he did to Shane. Rex signs an official statement. Shane returns. Brody urges Shane to hang in there. Sooner or later, all bullies get what's coming to them.
