Clint stands over Liam's crib in his nursery, praying he'll get home safe. He sees Viki in the doorway holding a baby. "Liam?" Clint asks. It's Ryder. Clint holds his grandson, as he and Viki rehash what happened. Viki doesn't think Brody would hurt Liam. Clint isn't so sure. Downstairs, Roxy hands Nigel some aspirin and helps herself to a few as well. She's impressed with how Nigel went up against Brody and his secret Seal moves. Roxy knows Johnny will stop at nothing to bring Liam home. Changing the subject, Nigel brings up their past affair. Roxy remembers how they sizzled. She's always thought a lot of Nigel and always will, especially after what he did for Liam. Viki and Clint appear. Nigel tries to get up to make breakfast. Clint insists he lay down, calls him a member of the family and says, "We just let you carry a tray around to humor you." Over talk of Natalie, Roxy comforts Viki and says, "Between you and me, I think we made a good kid." Jessica and Ford arrive, get caught up then go upstairs to see Ryder. Roxy notices Jessica had on the same clothes from yesterday and tells Viki and Clint she was doing the walk of shame. Aubrey drops off Shane. Roxy flips out when she hears Aubrey let Rex go chasing after a ghost on his own. Later, Clint approaches Shane, who calls him Mr. Buchanan. Clint asks him to call him Grandpa or Clint. Viki watches as Clint and Shane share a civil conversation. Upstairs, holding Ryder, Jessica can't imagine what Natalie's going through.
At the Buchanan Mansion, Rex asks Cutter and Kim's friend, who are in disguise, "Who's hiding under those masks?" Roxy tugs on Rex's sleeve, who invites them inside. Nearby, Natalie warns Aubrey to keep her claws out of Rex. Across the room, Tina looks at Gigi's photo on the mantle and says, "The dead girl." Cord hushes her, saying she's Rex's deceased fiancée. Tina explains how she came to Llanfair and insists on telling Rex that she's alive! Tina rushes to Rex, and explains she has something to say, but hears Rex is going to be Brody's best man. Tina warns that Cord's going to stand up for Brody. Roxy tells Tina to shut it, and the women argue. Privately, Kim's friend admits to Cutter she got the feeling, when seeing Rex, that he was important. While Cutter goes to get them drinks, she sees a Halloween card, opens it and hears Gigi's message to Shane. "That's my mom," Shane says, joining her. When Shane introduces himself, and asks for her name, she rushes off. Cutter tries going after her, but Aubrey has a hold of a piece of his mummy costume. It begins unraveling around his chest. "Wait," Aubrey snaps. "I know those nipples!" She counts his abs and only knows one man with seven of them. She runs after Cutter. Rex joins Shane and asks who he was talking to. Shane didn't get a chance to find out. Rex rushes after Aubrey. Natalie and Brody find Ford, Jessica and Bree at the door. While the adults have a civil conversation, Bree finds the letter in her bag and thinks someone's tricking her. On their way out, Bree throws the letter on the ground.
At the Buchanan Mansion, Aubrey helps Shane and Rex display some of Gigi's favorite Halloween decorations. They listen to a card to Shane with Gigi's recorded voice saying, "Happy Halloween to my favorite guy. I love you, Shane." Aubrey comforts Shane and suggests he put the card someplace safe. Shane keeps listening to Gigi's message. Later, dressed in their Three Musketeer costumes, Rex adjusts Aubrey's hat. Something passes between them. Guests arrive. Tina and Cord are dressed as cowboy and cowgirl. Natalie makes a quick getaway when Tina starts talking about the wedding. Roxy stops Natalie and says she tried to convince John to 'tell her'. Just as Roxy starts to tell Natalie what John really said, Rex ushers Natalie away to rant about including Tina in her wedding. As everyone mingles, the doorbell rings. Rex opens it and smiles at Cutter and Kim's friend in disguise. Back in the living room, Tina sees Gigi's picture on the mantel and tells Cord, "That's her. The dead girl."
Shane stops Rex from leaving the Buchanan Mansion. He doesn't want to dress up for Halloween and admits Gigi already bought them 'Three Musketeers' costumes for this year. Aubrey appears. After Rex talks to Shane about how Gigi would want them to celebrate Halloween, Shane asks Aubrey to join him and Rex as a musketeer. Aubrey heads to the attic to get the costumes. Shane and Rex engage in a fake swordfight.
Jack returns to Victor's grave and vows to find out if the woman he saw was really Gigi. Rex and Shane arrive at Gigi's grave. They wonder who placed the flower on her headstone. Rex can feel that Gigi is with them. He hugs Shane. Jack watches them from the shadows.
At the Buchanan Mansion, Echo apologizes to Rex for thinking he was guilty. Rex wonders why Echo didn't just get rid of the gun. She thinks back to Kim's blackmail and signing the document. Just as Echo starts to confess, Shane appears. Once Echo leaves, Rex asks why Shane didn't tell him what he had done to Jack the night of Victor's murder. It's not like Shane killed Victor. "No," Shane replies. "But I thought you did." They promise to be honest from here on out. Rex also knows it's time to accept that Gigi is dead.
Jack tries to leave the cemetery. Shane won't let him and demands Jack tell him what he did to Gigi. Jack refuses and taunts, "I bet that gun isn't even loaded." Shane fires the gun. Jack thinks he's shot, but the dampness isn't blood. He peed his pants. Just as Jack starts to fess up, Rex and Bo appear. Rex is able to get Shane to drop the gun. Bo picks it up, as Shane falls into Rex's arms.
At the station, over talk of Victor's murder Brody admits if someone had kept him from his kids he would have… Natalie wonders if Brody would have killed over it. She brings up the lack of evidence against Todd and wonders who else could've killed Victor. Brody thinks back to Vimal asking if he killed Victor. Bo and Rex appear with Shane and Jack. Bo hands the gun over to Brody for testing. It could be the murder weapon. After Bo heads into his office, Jack and Brody bicker. Jack insists all cops are corrupt. Inside Bo's office, Shane confesses... He took the gun the night of Victor's murder. Shane wanted to make Victor and Jack pay. He knocked Jack out and was standing over Jack with the gun. "I couldn't do it," Shane explains and denies killing Victor. He got worried when Jack wouldn't wake up and dropped him off at the hospital. "He killed my mom, and I save his life," Shane says. He put the gun back in the safe and went to bed. Bo recalls the weapon had been fired. Shane took a practice shot before he went to Jack's. Outside, John arrives and gets brought up to speed. The results from the gun are in. Natalie opens Bo's door and tells everyone the gun wasn't used to kill Victor. Bo scolds Jack for his lies and orders Brody to take him home. Brody listens as Bo tells John, "We're back to square one. Anybody could've done it."
Rama and Vimal approach Aubrey at Capricorn. Aubrey shares that she and Cutter broke up. The girls step away to talk. Vimal looks at a headline about Todd and thinks about Brody. Shaun appears. They reminisce over Victor. Shaun thinks Victor will get justice. The cops have their man, Todd. "Yeah, maybe," Vimal replies. Shaun wonders if Vimal thinks someone else did the deed. Vimal met Todd and didn't get a killer vibe from him. He hears a 9mm killed Victor. It's a standard gun carried by the LPD. Shaun can't believe he's implying that a cop killed Victor and refuses to believe it. Nearby, Aubrey confides in Rama about the gun and how Cutter didn't turn it in. Rama compares Cutter to his bitch sister. Aubrey admits she met Kim, who returned to Llanview. Rama's furious to hear that her money paid for Kim's plastic surgery. Rama thinks back to knowing Cutter's secret and vows to find out where Kim is. Rama privately calls Cutter and demands he meet her.
