Clint offers Rex money. Rex declines but agrees to hug his father. After the Balsoms leave, Viki and Clint anxiously await the DNA results. Jessica appears and asks, "DNA results?" Gigi joins Rex at the Buchanan Mansion just as he finishes up a call with Nora. As they kiss, Roxy interrupts and says, "Honeymoon is over." She's throwing a huge party to honor "Fraternity Row's" last episode tomorrow. Everyone tried to save the soap, but it didn't work. Roxy wants to give it the sendoff it deserves and wants everyone to dress up as characters. Roxy names John and Natalie as the show's leading couple and says, "They're the starcrossiest lovers I've ever met." Out in the foyer, Shane opens a letter labeled urgent then joins his parents. Shane announces that he's been given a scholarship to one of the best art schools in England. He's confused, having never applied. Gigi admits she applied for him a year ago. He appreciates it but knows Gigi did it to get him out of a bad situation. Now that Shane's happy, there's no reason to leave Llanview. Gigi's proud of the strong guy Shane has become. She and Rex want to go to England with him. Roxy appears upset.

At Llanfair, Viki and Clint prepare for the wedding. Clint talks about having the heart of a manic. Viki thinks it only proves a heart is a muscle. It's the goodness in Clint that gives him his 'heart'. Nora arrives. Matthew's out of town with David and Dorian. When Roxy and Gigi appear, Nora says, "You look beautiful for a dead woman." Later, John and Rex arrive. Delphina appears, as the officiate, and tells John she hopes the wedding is over before all hell breaks loose. John joins Natalie, and Rex stands with Shane, as Gigi appears in her wedding dress. The wedding begins, as Delphina talks about all Rex and Gigi have overcome. Rex and Gigi exchange personal vows and reflect on their past. In tears, Rex vows to treasure their family forever. Gigi shares his tears and thanks Rex for bringing her back to life, literally. She'll always love him and their family. They light the unity candle then Delphina asks if anyone has any reason to object. Roxy insists she skip that part, due to what happened at the last wedding. Rex and Gigi are pronounced husband and wife. The lights flicker again… Later, as everyone in Llanview counts down the New Year, the power goes out. John takes a call and leaves for the station. Alone, Natalie sees someone in the dark and screams.

Delphina joins Rex, Gigi and Shane at the Buchanan Mansion. Rex wonders how he was getting the messages from Gigi when she was in a coma. Delphina warns them not to mess things up - the universe wanted them together. Delphina leaves and wonders if John's ready for what's to come. She did what she could and hopes everyone gets out alive. Back inside, Rex and Gigi dance by candlelight.

In John's office, Gigi taunts Jack about seeing a ghost. Gigi wants to finish what she started the night she planned to confront Jack and warns, "I'm going to kick your scrawny ass." Tea demands Gigi back off but is glad she's okay. Gigi wonders if Jack's glad. Shane says Jack's not worth it. Out in the station, John and Natalie discuss Jack. Natalie thinks Tea's going to have a hard time getting Jack out of this one and says, "Not unless she can raise the dead." Gigi appears and says, "It's me." Natalie and John hug Gigi, stunned she's alive. Natalie knows Rex must be beside himself. Gigi confirms but admits he's off tying up some loose ends. After John leaves, Gigi comments on how lighter John seems and wonders if he's on medication or if it's 'the Natalie effect'. Suddenly, Gigi blurts out that Liam is John's son. She remembers what was on the tape she had. Natalie already knows. Gigi's surprised Natalie and John aren't back together and warns that life's too short. Back in John's office, Tea and Jack hug. Gigi's alive, which means Jack's out of the woods. John appears and says, "I wouldn't go that far." Tea asks Jack to wait outside then warns that Jack can't be tried for Stacy's murder. The chain of events that happened after Jack locked Gigi in the basement was interrupted by Stacy. Tea demands John concentrate on charging Todd for Victor's murder. John plans to make Jack pay for locking Gigi up to begin with. Outside, Jack stops Gigi before she and Shane leave. He's glad she's alive and apologizes for everything he did to them. "Tell that to my sister," Gigi says and leaves with Shane. Natalie appears with a few choice words for Jack. Later, just as Natalie and John are prepared to talk, he's called away. They make plans to spend New Year's together.

Viki joins Clint at Llanfair, who rants about Jack being a killer. Viki wonders if Clint expects her to give up on her nephew. Clint jokes about Viki dumping him after a day. She laughs and says, "You're stuck with me." They profess their love. Viki loves Jack too and knows he has to face the consequences of his actions. Gigi deserves justice. Shane appears with a surprise. Gigi follows slowly, not wanting to give Viki and Clint a heart attack. Viki rushes into Gigi's arms. Clint's stunned that he has Stacy's heart. Shane notes that Stacy hadn't been using it anyway. Rex arrives and starts to propose. Clint gives Rex his mother's ring. He gets down on one knee. Gigi accepts.

Shane wonders what they're going to do about Jack. On their way to the station, Rex's cell rings. He ignores a call from Aubrey then admits to Gigi that they got close. Gigi wonders if he forgot her when he was with Aubrey. Rex didn't but admits she made things easier. "Do you have feelings for her?" Gigi asks. If he did, they disappeared the minute Gigi returned. Gigi understands and insists Rex stay behind to deal with Aubrey. Rex calls Aubrey, who agrees to meet him.

In his office, John tells Tea Shane asked Neela to help him prove Jack had gotten away with murder and says, "Apparently, he was right." Out in the station, Todd tells Blair someone set Jack up and vows not to let them get away with it. "What're you going to do, Todd? Kill them? You would, wouldn't you?" Tea says from John's doorway. Todd questions if Tea thinks he killed someone. John stops Tea from elaborating. Tea admits that Neela set Jack up and says, "Jack could be in big trouble." He could be facing a murder charge. Blair defends Jack. He didn't mean to hurt anyone and shouldn't pay with his life. "Like Gigi Morasco did?" John asks. Tea sends Todd and Blair home and insists on talking to Jack alone. When Jack's brought in, John gives Tea some time alone with her client in his office. She promises to do everything to help him. Jack feels stupid for trusting Neela. As Tea warns Jack not to say a word about Neela, Shane barges in to surprise John. Gigi appears. Jack and Tea are the ones surprised.
