Hang On, Todd, Here We Come!

    Friday, July 20 2007

At her apartment, Adriana finds the OPP medallion in Tate’s backpack then asks him what it’s doing there! As Adriana starts flipping out, Tate claims the medallion was his father’s then says, “That’s all I have left of him.” However, Adriana accuses Tate of condoning what his father did! Furious, Tate reminds her that if he was a racist he wouldn’t be hanging around her or working with Layla at Expose. After Adriana thinks back to Rex’s warning, about what better way for Tate to hide his identity than to hang out with a Latino, she replies, “I guess I thought I knew you... I’m confused...” At the end of his rope, Tate tells Adriana to get over the fact that he has the medallion. However, she continues to rant until Tate says, “You’re such a drama queen.” When Adriana demands that Tate throw the medallion away, reluctantly, he finally does. “Thank you,” Adriana says then acts as though she’s tired and asks Tate to leave. Once Tate’s gone, Adriana rushes out closely behind!

Later, Tate sneaks back into Adriana’s apartment, pulls out the OPP medallion and holds it in his hands…

    Secrets Start to Unravel

    Tuesday, July 17 2007

At the funeral home, Tate "laments" his father's wrongdoings and praises Adriana's support. As the funeral director enters, Tate notes the man is Dominican. Picking up on some uneasiness, the man asks Tate if his heritage is a problem. Tate gets a little defensive as both Adriana and the director question his reaction. After Tate regroups from his near racist slip, he opts for a closed, quick funeral, but Adriana suggests having an open one instead in hopes of catching other OPP members. Tate of course is outraged by her suggestion and tells her doesn't want to talk about it anymore. Before leaving , Adriana kisses Tate on the cheek, much to Tate's disgust. Tate later fantasizes about Adriana's death and him getting away with his hate crimes.

Back at the funeral home, Tate discusses his plan to kill Adriana with someone on the phone. When he hangs up, Rex is there staring him down. Clearly not hearing the conversation, Rex and Tate argue over Adriana.

    Mr. & Mrs. Brennan!

    Thursday, July 12 2007

When Tate and Adriana arrive at the station, Bo says, “I have some questions about your father’s death.” After Bo makes Tate aware that Kirk died right after Tate’s visit, Tate reveals, “I know what my father was going to tell you.” Although Tate feeds Bo more lies, Bo asks Adriana to wait outside then tells Tate, “The warden told me why your father wanted to talk to me. It wasn’t about the OPP… It was about you.” Again, Tate makes up a story to deter the truth then leaves…

    John Arrests Miles!

    Wednesday, July 11 2007

When Rex and Sarah run into Adriana at the diner, Sarah realizes that she’s the ex who Rex is so hung up on. After Rex explains his relationship with Sarah, Tate arrives and says, “I see you’ve moved on quick, Rex.” Although Rex tries to defend himself, Adriana says, “Don’t explain on my account. It’s none of my business.” Seeing how distracted Rex is, Sarah tells him he’s better off! Just then, Sarah sees her Uncle Bo walk in and she quickly goes out the back door!

After Tate and Adriana go get a table, Tate says, “I have a bad feeling something is going to happen at my dad’s sentencing tomorrow.” Holding his hands, with Rex and Sarah watching on, Adriana tells Tate, “I’m here for whatever you need.” Suddenly, Bo approaches the table and tells Tate, “There’s no easy way to tell you this. Your father’s been killed.” With Rex still eavesdropping, Tate acts as though he’s upset, but thanks Bo then storms out. Although Rex tries to stop Adriana from following Tate, she insists and rushes past Rex! Alone, Bo and Rex discuss all the possibilities surrounding Kirk’s sudden death.

    Hidden Deceit

    Tuesday, July 10 2007

When Tate goes to see Kirk in jail, Kirk tells him to stay away from his sentencing tomorrow then says, “I hope you’re putting distance between you and that group. What you’ve done is a big mistake.” However, Tate replies, “My only mistake is not seeing things through to the end.” Although Kirk demands to know if Tate is planning something else, and warns he’ll end up behind bars, Tate patronizes his father! After Tate says Adriana won’t be an issue for long, Kirk asks, “What do you have planned for her?” Despite Kirk’s pleas for his son to change, Tate says, “I don’t think we’re ever going to see eye to eye. I hope your time in here isn’t too hard on you.” Once Tate leaves, Kirk thinks back to all his conversations with Tate then says out loud, “I’m sorry, son, somebody’s got to stop you.” When the guard comes in, Kirk asks to call Bo Buchanan and says, “It’s urgent.”

In Angel’s Square, Tate runs into a fellow OPP member who’s been sent to Llanview to make sure Tate’s father isn’t going to interfere in their mission. However, Tate assures Clark that his father will stay quiet! Once Tate is out of earshot, Clark makes a call saying that Kirk Harman is a security threat and promises, “Don’t worry, he’ll be taken care of.”

When Tate arrives at the diner, upset, he tells Adriana that his father has been trying to make him think the way he does. “I just want to thank you, Adriana,” Tate says. “For everything you’ve done for me – and all you’ll do in the future.” After, Tate goes on and says, “He told me he never wants to see me again,” Adriana promises to be there for whatever Tate needs.
