    Struggling Emotions...

    Tuesday, September 18 2007

Wearing a garbage bag, John tries to get Tommy to eat – instead of throwing his food at John! When Marty shows up and finds John having a tough time feeding Tommy, she gives him some tips then offers to leave him alone with Tommy. However, John asks her to stay. After John puts Tommy to sleep, he asks why Marty came by, to which she hands him some paper – and a book on how to make all sorts of paper airplanes, like the one he made out of her and Miles's marriage certificate. Although Marty thinks twice about her gift, and tries to leave, John calls out for her to wait then says, “Thank you.”

Later, while looking over the book and talking about kids, John agrees before having kids you have to find the right person to share your life with. Before Marty leaves, she apologizes to John for kissing him yesterday, to which John passionately kisses her back!

    A Plea Of Love?

    Friday, September 14 2007

As John and Marty kiss at the docks, they aren’t aware they have company – Miles and Natalie! However, when John and Marty do notice them, Natalie approaches and calmly asks John how Marcie and Michael are doing. When John claims that Michael and Marcie are ‘okay,’ Natalie snaps, “Yeah, right… They just lost someone they love and they’re okay!” Although Miles tries to talk to Marty, she doesn’t care about his feelings, causing Miles to storm off – with Natalie close behind!

Alone again, although Marty apologizes for putting John in that position, John admits to still caring about Natalie but also wonders where their kiss would have led! On a lighter note, John buys Marty an ice cream and they share small talk – as though they don’t know each other. When Marty worries that the kiss may have ruined their friendship, John reaches out, wipes away some ice cream from the corner of her mouth then says, “You didn’t wreck anything.”

    Passion By The Docks!

    Thursday, September 13 2007

At the courthouse, although Marty gives Miles annulment papers, with John listening on, Miles claims he still loves Marty. However, Marty replies, “This marriage never happened. The only husband I ever loved is Patrick.” After Miles makes one last plea of love, he leaves Marty’s side, to which John appears…

Over talk about Marcie and Michael, John comments that the nightmare doesn’t seem as though it’ll ever end. After John tells Marty about getting suspended, she tries to cheer him up with some plans to spend the afternoon together… Once John and Marty make their way to the docks, Marty pulls out her marriage certificate to Miles then plans to toss it in the river. However, John takes it from Marty’s grasp then says, “I have a better idea.” After John makes a paper airplane out of the document, talk of Tommy arises, to which John says, “I tried to do the right thing… It turned out hurting everyone in the end.”

Still at the docks, after Marty thanks John for ‘saving her,’ John and Marty share a passionate kiss – just as Natalie and Miles appear to witness it, in shock!

    Suspended From The LPD!

    Wednesday, September 12 2007

Over breakfast, although Marty wanted to do something special for Cole’s first day back to school, Cole’s just happy to have Marty home then wonders why they haven’t heard from John yet? As Marty is explaining that John doesn’t take thank you’s too well, and just considers what he did to be his job, their attention is turned to the TV – and to a news conference regarding Tommy being Todd Manning’s son! Hearing Miles’s mention, Marty and Cole worry for all involved until Marty brings up John – and how he might have kept the secret if it meant protecting his family.

After Cole leaves for school, Marty receives a registered letter, opens it, then smiles…

Outside of the courtroom, Marty shows up and hands Miles a copy of their annulment papers and ends their shame of a marriage - with pleasure!
