    Bo and Nora are in an exam room with Matthew. A doctor notices the fresh bump on his head and leaves to order tests. Matthew comes to and thinks he's paralyzed from the accident with Cole from a few years ago. The doctor reappears and privately confirms Matthew's reacting to a very serious injury, bleeding in the brain. Matthew's condition is grave. He needs emergency now in order to prevent brain damage or death. Bo and Nora exchange I love yous with Matthew and promise everything will be all right. "I'll see you on the other side," Matthew says, leaving Nora in tears.

    In Bo's office, Nora tries to comprehend Clint's confessions. Bo thinks it was a noble act of a dying man. Nora still blames Clint and wants to let him take the blame for Eddie's murder. Bo doesn't think Matthew will allow it. Tea and Tomas appear. When Tea demands the state drop the charges against Tomas, Bo replies, "Like hell." Tea reminds Bo he has nothing to hold Tomas. Nora confirms it and drops the charges. After Tea and Tomas leave, Bo rants to Nora. He's sure Tomas knows more about Todd's shooting than he's letting on.

    In Clint's hospital room, Nora and Bo find him confessing to Eddie's murder. Clint admits Bo and Nora had nothing on him. He covered his tracks and killed Eddie simply to keep him quiet about the fact that he paid Eddie to kidnap Nora. Clint also confesses that he kidnapped David to keep him from Bo and Dorian and that he forced Vimal to fix paternity results. Blanca wonders if Clint is now ready to acknowledge Rex as his son. Clint ignores her and rambles on about why he had Jessica's test switched. Bo ends the taping and kicks Blanca out. Nora wonders what Clint's trying to pull. There's no way he'd confess. Clint admits he's dying. He begs them to let him protect Matthew.

    Still at the loft, Nora demands Matthew trust them. He can't confess right now. Matthew reminds them once Blanca goes public, everyone will know anyway. "We have to stop her," Nora tells Bo, who finds out Blanca's at the hospital. Matthew reluctantly agrees to stay quiet for the time being. Bo and Nora rush out. Soon after, someone bangs on the door. Matthew opens it. Nate gives him an uppercut. Matthew hits his head on the end table on his way to the floor. Nate demands he admit the truth. "I killed your dad," Matthew confesses. He tells Nate the events that led up to Eddie's murder. Matthew holds his head in pain and apologizes. Nate can't forget Matthew let him take the fall and calls Matthew a spoiled rich kid. Dani knows what a loser he is and soon enough so will everyone else. Nate warns if Matthew doesn't turn himself in, he'll go to the cops himself. After Nate leaves, Matthew picks up a family photo, which shattered during his fall.

    Blanca finds Clint in his room and lets him know about a story she's going to break. Her source is saying his nephew killed Eddie Ford. Clint acts as though he has no idea what she's talking about and threatens to sue if she goes public. Blanca stands her ground. Later, Bo and Nora enter the room just as Clint goes live on TV, admitting to Llanview that he killed Eddie.

    At the loft, Bo fills Nora in on Marty. Blanca arrives with a heads up. She's getting ready to go live with the fact that they're covering for Matthew. It's time the public knew he killed Eddie Ford. They threaten to sue, which doesn't deter Blanca. Soon after Blanca leaves, Matthew appears. Bo and Nora admit Blanca's going public. They think Clint leaked the truth to Blanca. Matthew admits it was Destiny. He wants to turn himself in.

    At the loft, Nora and Matthew confront Bo about knowing Clint had a heart attack. Matthew wonders if Clint could die. Bo doesn't know and still blames Clint for everything that's happened. "I won't forgive him," Bo says to Matthew. "Neither should you." Matthew refuses to risk not being able to say goodbye to Clint and tries to leave. Bo won't let Matthew go to the hospital. Matthew warns Bo not to let his stubbornness stop him from making peace with his brother. Nora urges Bo not to turn his back on Clint and reminds him how Clint once begged Bo to fight for his life. Later, Destiny arrives and tells Matthew a reporter thinks he killed Eddie Ford.

    Still at the loft, Nora tells Matthew Bo went to talk to Clint. He wonders what they plan to do in regards to Eddie's murder. Nora brings up how she prosecuted Nate and asks if Matthew was going to let Nate take the rap for him. Matthew was going to confess, but Nate was released. Nora reminds him she and Bo could've lost their jobs and innocent people suffered because of this mess. "I'm ready to confess," Matthew states then again goes over what happened with Eddie. Nora asks if Matthew can live with knowing he killed a man. In tears, Matthew can't deny Eddie was a human being, though not a good one. Bo arrives and warns Matthew that Clint used him. Nora promises Clint will get exactly what he deserves, sooner or later.

    In a panic at the loft, Nora tells Bo Matthew's missing. Bo calms her. He gave Matthew permission to go to the diner. They debate what steps to take next with Matthew. Nora blames everything on Clint. Bo thinks they need to hire a lawyer to help Nora build Matthew's defense. Nora knows it's not that simple. Matthew could go to prison for life. "How would we live with ourselves if we sent our son to prison?" Nora cries. Bo doesn't think Matthew can live with the secret. He also thinks the Ford boys deserve closure. "Can you actually see turning in your own son?" Nora asks. Dorian arrives wanting answers about Clint and Eddie's murder. Bo and Nora explain the evidence against Clint was circumstantial. After Dorian leaves, Bo follows to warn Clint to stay quiet should Dorian confront him. Matthew returns and orders Nora to turn on "Access Llanview." He thinks Phyllis Rose is about to pinpoint him as Eddie's murderer.

    At the loft, Nora and Bo reflect on Matthew's crime. Nora worries Matthew's life is over. Bo promises they'll take things one step at a time. Destiny arrives in tears. Though Matthew's not available, Destiny tells them what happened with Shane. Nora's livid about what Jack did and urges Bo to go be with Rex. Alone, Destiny admits kids used to make fun of her too, except Matthew. He's one of the good guys. "I always thought so," Nora replies and urges Destiny to continue being a good friend to Matthew.
