When Todd shows up at Michael’s apartment, he quickly bum rushes Michael, with a knife to his throat, and asks, “Where is she?” After Michael says he has no idea where Marcie is, Todd pushes the knife closer to his neck and says, “Too bad for you!” As Todd continues his threats, Michael screams, “Go ahead, do it! I’ve lost everything! If you want your pound of flesh, come and get me!” However, Todd laughs at Michael as he falls to his knees, saying he loves to see him wallowing in his own misery, calls him Dr. McLoser then cruelly warns that he’ll never see Tommy again! Once Todd leaves, Michael sobs…
While Rex is daydreaming about having ‘breakfast in bed,’ Adriana is busying herself around the apartment demanding Rex’s help with Thanksgiving dinner! Although Rex finally agrees to help, he tries to calm Adriana who is nervous about having her first dinner – and is glad Dorian won’t be there to pick at her!
Just then, Vincent, Layla and Roxy arrive – with Miles and Michael close behind! Although Michael and Miles weren’t invited, Adriana hugs Michael as Rex questions Roxy about Miles by asking, “What is this, bring a con to dinner day?” While Roxy is introducing Miles around, Michael tells Rex, “This is my first Thanksgiving without Tommy.” Later, when Natalie calls Roxy, she hands the phone over to Rex and asks, “Get some info out of her about Asa’s will!” While Rex is on the phone, Adriana tries to cheer Michael up to which he admits, “I had this feeling this morning that Marcie and Tommy would come walking through the door… But they're not coming back.” Later, before dinner after everyone talks about all they are thankful for, Michael prays out loud, hoping his family is safe, then goes to leave…
Just before he reaches the door, Michael’s phone rings, and it’s Marcie! After Marcie let’s Tommy say, “Hi daddy,” she takes back the phone and says, “I just wanted to let you know we are okay and I’m so thankful I had you in my life.” Although Michael begs for Marcie to let him come find her, Marcie insists he forgot about them and says, “Make a new life for yourself… one without us.” Once Marcie hangs up, Michael breaks down in tears…
In Llanview, after Lee takes off John’s handcuffs, they share info about Patrick Thornhart’s case to which John thinks the same people who killed Patrick have Marty and Cole! Reluctantly, Lee admits that he’s been trying to bag these people for years to which John asks, “How bad do you want it? Bad enough to leave my sister-in-law alone, bad enough to help Marty and Cole?” Once John promises to give Lee the lead he has on Marty, Lee agrees to join forces with John! Just as Lee says he’ll make arrangements for them to fly to Ireland tonight, Michael appears and asks, “You’re giving up on Marcie?”
After Lee leaves the brothers alone, Michael begs John not to abandon his wife! Although Michael fears what Todd will do to Marcie, John assures Michael Todd won’t hurt her because he wants Tommy then insists he did all he could by getting Lee Ramsey off Marcie’s trail. Suddenly, Lee reappears and the two men leave for Ireland!
Although Roxy and Michael plead with John to let Miles go, John slams Miles against the wall one more time, throws him to the couch then says, “All right, where are they?" After Miles claims he had nothing to do with Marty and Cole’s disappearance, John privately tells Michael about Marcie – who is furious at John for bailing on Marcie! Back to Miles, John explains when and where they disappeared from - to which Miles again swears, “I don’t know where there are!”
Just then, Lee shows up at the hotel and sends a cop upstairs to look for Marcie in Michael’s room. Although Michael insists Marcie isn’t there, Lee focuses on John, thinking he returned to Llanview on a tip about Marcie! When Michael rushes past them up the stairs, Lee and John follow! However, once upstairs, Lee and his men come up empty-handed. Showing Lee the tracking device John found on his car, Lee then orders John ‘patted’ down and sends Michael away with the other cop.
Alone, after John refuses to give Lee answers as to why he’s back in Llanview, and says, “Maybe I just wanted some alone time with you,” Lee punches John in the stomach then replies, “You are under arrest for aiding and abetting a fugitive and for generally ticking me off.” Finally, John admits he came home because Cole and Marty Thornhart have gone missing. “Thornhart… As in Patrick Thornhart?” Lee asks. As Lee takes off John cuffs, they exchange what they know about Patrick’s case and the guy who killed him – the same one John suspects has Marty and Cole!
At the gym, Cris and Antonio watch Michael as he takes his frustrations out on a heavy bag and sympathize with what he’s going through. Over talk of their day’s plans, Antonio kids with Cris about missing Sarah until Cris sends him packing!
Later, Cris approaches Michael to hear he was suspended from the hospital today as a result of his arrest. Although Cris suggests the boxing will keep Michael’s mind off his son and Marcie, Michael snaps, “I’ll never stop thinking of him! And Marcie… How can she do this to me!” Cris tries to reason with Michael as to why Marcie felt the need to run off, yet Michael is filled with worry for what’ll happen to Marcie – and his marriage! “Once this is over,” Michael says. “My wife is going to be spending a lot of time behind bars.” Before Michael takes off, Cris explains he knows how Michael feels to lose everything… After Michael leaves, Cris is excited to get a call from Sarah!
When Michael arrives back at the hotel, he promises Roxy that he won’t be asking whether or not Marcie called anymore. Suddenly, John rushes into the hotel, grabs Miles, throws him onto a coffee table then demands to know what he did with Marty and Cole!
At the coffeehouse, while Starr, Langston and Markko wait for Cole, they talk about Britney and Marcie. Just then, Michael appears to which Starr relays that everyone is out looking for Marcie and Tommy! After Michael walks away, Langston expresses her concern for Marcie, and how she feels sorry for her, causing Starr to snap, “You can’t feel sorry for her and be a part of my family!” As Starr expresses how upset she is over the Tommy situation, the girls apologize to each other with a hug.
