At Llanfair, Rex asks what's so important that Clint's trying to throw his weight around at hospitals. Clint's trying to help a friend. Rex pushes for details and claims it's important to him, Shane and Gigi. After Clint fills Rex in on Kim's sick friend in Kentucky, he asks what has Rex so upset. Rex admits he sees Gigi. He shares Delphina's messages and how Gigi begs him not to give up. Rex brings up Kim's sick friend and says, "Maybe we're supposed to help each other." Kim must be connected to whatever Gigi's trying to tell him. Rex offers to track down Kim's friend for Clint, who shares what he knows and urges Rex to find Kim's sick friend right away. Clint would do anything to help Kim and knows she'd do the same for him. He understands why Rex is still seeing Gigi…The good always lingers behind. Clint knows he has a good heart and will never forget what Gigi did for him.
Shaun finds Destiny at the diner. Why wasn't she at the funeral for Dani? Destiny called Dani and explains that she went to visit Greg. Today was the only day Greg could receive visitors. Though Destiny told Greg about the baby, she went to show him Matthew's medical files, the ones she stole. Greg thinks Matthew's getting better. Rex arrives, with Echo close behind. As he talks about his trip, and how he's taking the jet, Echo suggests he give Clint all of his property back.
Echo runs into Rex at the diner. She thinks about the missing gun, as Rex shares his Gigi sighting and how Gigi urged him not to give up. Delphina told him to go to Clint for more info. Echo suggests Gigi meant for Rex not to give up on Clint. Rex doesn't think that's it but shares 'the moment' he had with Clint. He reiterates the only reason why he gave Clint Gigi's heart. Echo hopes Rex isn't still out for revenge. He assures Echo Jack isn't a problem and asks if she got rid of the gun. Echo claims she did and listens as Rex says justice will be served today. Jack will have to watch Victor be laid to rest. He'll now know how he and Shane feel. Later, Roxy arrives, privately tells Echo about her visit with Cutter and says, "We have to get that gun back."
Rex enters Llanfair and finds Clint ranting to someone, who won't give him any information, at the Kentucky hospital. He makes a few remarks about Clint being alone, in a wheelchair and with someone else's heart then lets Clint know he's there to see him - not Natalie.
Rex arrives at Gigi's grave and talks about Shane going back to school and how Victor's being buried today. Jack and Tea are finally finding out what it's been like for him and Shane. Rex feels as though he doesn't have a choice and has to accept that Gigi is gone. Gigi appears. What does Gigi want him to know? "Don't give up," Gigi replies. Rex explains how he went to the Spotted Pony after Gigi said that before. He only found Kim. She repeats her message then disappears.
Roxy approaches Nate at the diner and asks if he's seen Morris. Nate listens as Roxy explains how Morris ended up missing. She slips about Morris having something inside of him but covers, claiming Morris has a big heart. Just as Nate suggests Roxy call her psychic friend, Delphina calls. She sensed Morris was missing. After Roxy hangs up, talk turns to Victor's murder. She wonders why Nate isn't with Dani. He admits she doesn't want him there. Delphina arrives and urges Nate to go see 'her'. She needs him. After Nate leaves, Roxy hands Delphina her sweater, the one she used to put on Morris. Delphina gets a message: 9mm. "Tell me about the gun, Roxy," Delphina orders. Roxy confides about the gun and the possibility that Rex killed Victor. Rex appears and tells Roxy that Cutter has Morris. Roxy rushes off. Delphina confirms Gigi's message to Rex. Don't give up. She urges Rex to ask Clint for further details.
At the diner, Shane begins to tell Rex what's bothering him about Jack. Nora and Bo appear with news about Matthew. Destiny's pregnant. Shane admits he found out at school. Nora brings up Mrs. Evans and blames herself for their lack of communication. Later, once alone, Rex asks Shane what he wanted to tell him about Jack. Shane can't help but think about how much Jack is going through, losing his dad. "Are you sure that's all it is?" Rex asks. "Yes," Shane replies. Nearby, Felicia joins Nora and suggests they talk about their grandchild.
In Angels Square, over talk of Morris, Roxy tells Echo, "We have to get that thing back before Rex's life is destroyed." Rex appears and asks, "What thing?" Roxy explains how Morris is missing. Rex doesn't buy that Roxy's worried that losing Morris will hurt him, claiming Rex always loved Morris as a kid. After Roxy rushes off, Rex again tells Echo that he didn't kill Victor but agrees with her. He shouldn't have a gun in the house with Shane.
Cutter talks to Morris at the diner. Brody appears and asks, "What're you doing with Morris." Cutter bought him at the flea market. Brody's surprised Roxy parted with him. As Cutter leaves, Shane appears. They talk about school and Jack. Rex arrives and talks about Morris being missing. Brody relays that Cutter claimed he bought him then answers Rex's questions about Victor's shooting. They don't have enough to book Todd. A lot of people wanted Victor dead. After Brody leaves, Rex assures Shane he can talk to him about anything.
At the Buchanan Mansion, Echo pulls out a gun and asks if Rex used it to kill Victor. There was a time when Rex thought about killing Victor but denies doing it. His clothes were muddy because he went to Gigi's grave. He tells Echo about the exhumation. Echo's sorry Rex felt he had to go to such lengths and assures him he can trust her now. Though Rex's grateful for whoever killed Victor, he again denies doing it. Echo has no choice but to believe him but still wants to get rid of the 9 mm.
Shane arrives home just as Rex assures Echo that he didn't kill Victor. The gun's never even been fired. Later, Echo unloads the gun, finds a bullet missing and realizes it's been fired. She thinks Rex was lying.
