Still trapped in Texas, when Bo wakes up Rex, Rex appears relieved to think that everything that's happened was only a bad dream. However, when Chuck Sr. (Nigel) brings them a newspaper, Rex sees the date and says, "It wasn't a dream. We're stuck in 1968!" Just then, Bo gets an idea, grabs the telephone and says, "I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner… Balsom, we're going to phone home!" When Bo calls the operator and finds out that Llanview's area code does not exist, Rex and Bo talk about how everyone in their lives are there with them - but as someone else.
Just as Rex starts taking jabs at Bo (Asa) about sleeping with Emma Bradley (Gigi), Lindsay appears as Asa's wife Olympia (Bo's mother) and demands, "Who's my husband been sleeping with this time?" After Olympia rants in a psychotic rage, she approaches Rex (Bo) and calls him her little boy, Bo, then screams, "I'm not letting them take you!" Olympia (Lindsay) then turns to Bo (Asa) and accuses him of wanting to send Bo (Rex) into the Vietnam War! As Chuck Sr. talks about sending his boy, Chuck, to the war too, Rex snaps at Bo, "I'm not going to Vietnam!" to which Bo replies, "I'm afraid you don't have a choice." Bo pulls Rex aside and tells him that in order not to change the future, they can't change the past - and Rex has to leave for Vietnam. Just then, Chuck appears at their side - confused by the 'thing' he found out in the field. Rex grabs the object from Chuck's hands and says, "It's the answer to our prayers." Rex quickly dials a number on his cell phone!
Back in Llanview, in 2008, Carlotta arrives at the diner to find it burnt down! When Gigi arrives, Carlotta sadly says the fire department is investigating, causing Gigi to think about calling Rex for help. However, she quickly remembers that he is off looking for Bo.
While Carlotta takes off to poke around, Brody shows up to deliver Gigi's cell phone, which she forgot at home. Wanting to talk about 'where they stand', Brody tries to make Gigi remember all of their old plans then asks her on a date! Gigi thanks Brody but turns him down - until she figures out how to support her son without a job. Brody promises to stand by her side and help her raise and support Shane, to which Gigi says, "Maybe doing it together isn't such a bad idea."
Later, alone at the diner, Gigi's cell phone rings and she calls out, "Rex?"
When Marty wakes up and sees Todd sleeping in the chair next to her bed, she wakes him up with a happy laugh and says, "For the first time I feel good, and it's because of you." Marty talks about the rape, and thanks Todd for telling her, then says, "I survived, and I'll get past this with your help… I'm nobody's victim." As weird as it seems, Todd admits, "It's been really wonderful having you here. You've kind of filled something for me." Though Marty asks if she ever fell in love with a good man, Todd changes the subject and is happy to hear that Marty wants a big stack of blueberry pancakes! Although Todd doesn't have the ingredients, he heads to the diner to get them!
Waking up in bed with John, Blair and John both agree to not having any regrets. Talking over their night together, they also agree that they needed each other. When Blair asks, "What happens now," John replies, "I'm not really good at this type of thing." Blair admits that although she wants to keep their friendship intact, she's not ready to get involved with anyone - and John feels the same, as he's not over Marty. Blair thanks John for his honesty and says, "I trust you, and these days, I can't even trust myself." John and Blair engage in kiss that takes them back down to the bed! After sex, Blair tells John that she doesn't want anyone to find out about what they’ve done then they make plans to go to the diner for breakfast.
When John and Blair arrive at the diner and see the destruction, Blair says, "We must have slept through the fire," to which Todd appears and asks, "Are you sleeping with him?"
In Mendorra, when Tina is brought into Antonio's cell, Antonio asks about Talia, to which Carlo says, "Would you like to tell them or should I?" Carlo laughs that he needs to leave, to give his daughter away soon, then Tina is forced to tell Antonio and Cain that Sarah and Cris went over the falls! "He tried to save her," Tina cries. "It was too late. They're dead… They're both dead." With Antonio in denial, Tina takes all of the blame and says that although she saw them both go over the falls she didn't see the bodies, to which Antonio reminds her that she survived going over the falls years ago. Cain insists that they figure out how to get out of there before Carlo returns.
Upstairs in the castle, Jonas visits Talia in her room and looks to the wedding dress lying on a chair. When Carlo appears, he privately instructs Jonas to get rid of Antonio Vega! After Jonas leaves, though Talia screams that she will not marry Jonas, Carlo warns that she will indeed! After Talia expresses her love for Antonio, Carlo says, "Now that Antonio's gone…" leaving Talia to gasp, "What have you done?" Carlo puts the crowned jewels on Talia and says, "You'll marry Jonas and take your place beside him." If she does, Carlo promises not to touch Antonio.
Downstairs in the dungeon, although Tina thinks their only way out of there is if Talia marries Jonas, Antonio says, "Over my dead body!" Just then, Jonas appears outside of the cell with a knife behind his back!
